Sorry! :( Now that I'm done reading and editing TA, I'll try to do a little research on ..."It's not YA now - more NA...

That last line is me selling the "sizzle" not the "steak" as they say in the ad industry...

Back to the drawing board I guess... I will mimic a best-selling blurb and tailor it to TA...

Retribution
is a free kindle book Sunday and Monday so if you feel like helping with promotion, maybe we can get it into the top 10 of the 100 best sellers in its category -- paranormal fantasy. It's currently #20!

You may not know but I wrote a YA High Fantasy /Romance several years ago and shopped it around the agent blogs and contests as well as queried it. Had a great response but agents who rep YA said it was too adult and that I should revise and send to Adult Fantasy agents. I was kind of disappointed so I moved on to my paranormal romance novel - the Dominion series, and my High Fantasy has been languishing. So, since I am done TA, and am now gearing up for S3 of Game of Thrones, my muse has been aching for some high fantasy again.
If anyone likes High Fantasy with heavy plot and worldbuilding and a love story at its core, and would be interested in being a first reader, please let me know! I will be using a different name to publish this as I want my children to be able to read and I not blush heavily. But if you want, I'd be pleased to have some feedback on how the book works.

I have a huge TBR pile but a sizeable TBW (to be written) pile and at this point in my life, the TBW pile takes precedence. ;) But on my TBR pile is
the Elemental series since it is right up my alley.

Just general response on how the new material worked and any typos that you might catch. Did the changes improve the novel in your opinion?

Once TA is edited I will be giving it a soft launch without publicity so I can make sure it all looks good. At that point, I will ask that ppl do reviews and the like for the hard launch on the 15th. I will have the Amazon ISBN and can create a Goodreads page etc. hope to have all this done first week in April. Just waiting for last beta reader and will then do final edit and format, then ship it off to a few book bloggers for R&R.

I'd like to have this republished on April 4th so by the 29th so I could work on it all weekend would be ideal. But by the 31st at the latest would be fine as well. Thanks!

The revised Dominion novel is ready for beta readers. I'll be sending it out soon and ask that you read it over and provide your reader response to the new material and revisions. If you find any glaring errors I would appreciate if you noted them. If you want. I can send it in PDF or Kindle or ePub format. Let me know what works best and thank you in advance!
Paris (kerbytejas) wrote: "A ok...I do believe that we will have to say " this book was given to me by the author for an honest review" - kind of a thing - so all please remember that"Absolutely! Thanks for posting that!

As part of generating buzz around release of The Agreement it would be great if all those who were first readers / beta readers would write a review and post them here and elsewhere with your comments and recc / rating. Hope to generate early interest in the release a week or so before the 15th. So if you are in, let me know below. You can post your early review at any time but I will be focusing on early promotion starting April 5 - 8th just to build interest in the novel.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I edited it again. It's a bit too long, but I will include a single line that mentions something about kink so readers will know this isn't just an ordinary contemporary romance.
Don't want to be accused of not "warning" readers...
