Hi, everyone! Long time no post! Sorry about the delay getting to you about beta reads for Redemption, Book 4 of the Dominion Series. The book has taken longer to write than I anticipated and I also had some family stuff in the midst of writing (dad had a diagnosis of lung cancer and surgery). However, I hope to have a draft ready for beta readers by July 24th or so. I'm looking for general feedback on how the book worked and what you liked / didn't like.

Hi, Katya and Michelle -- thanks for the input! :) Those are quotes from r5-star reviews! I guess readers all have different takes on the series. They focus on different aspects. It's hard to know which to use to sell and that's the purpose of using reviews on covers. Will look at the reviews again and see if there are more appropriate quotes...

I'm getting really excited about finishing the series! Re-read Retribution last night and am sitting down to write today! :)

You're right of course. I have to feel the pull of a story and characters. I'm still too caught up in writing and revising Unrestrained so I'm not able to focus on what new series is calling me. We shall see...

I originally planned 5 books for The Dominion Series, but I think I'll wrap it up in 4 books. I have two YA romances, one is a dystopian SF and the other a high fantasy along the lines of Game of Thrones. Plus my Romantic Suspense series and the Prequel to Dominion -- too many books to write!

So, I'm in the final stages of finishing Unrestrained, Book 3 of the Unrestrained Series. I'm going to finish the Dominion Series, and will be starting to write Redemption in a week or two, once Unrestrained is released. But I need to make a decision about what series to start next.

Here are my options:

New Adult Contemporary Romantic Suspense - Brimstone

Young Adult Dystopian SF - Numberless

Prequel to the Dominion Series - Kingdom of the Damned

Here's my problem -- as much as I love my Dominion series, it's not a big seller. Dominion reached #30 or so on the Amazon Bestselling Paranormal list but that was it. I have loyal fans, and want to finish the series for them, and as much as I would love to write a prequel, it's just not economically justified. I would do it only for myself and any Dominion fans. So I'd have to also be writing something that would pay the bills. Like a Contemporary Romance or YA Dystopian or Romantic Suspense.

So, I'm going to post the first chapter of both the Contemporary Romantic Suspense and the YA Dystopian SF and ask for people to provide general feedback. I have an audience based on The Unrestrained Series and am a bit hesitant to write a YA because there would be much less to no explicit material and much more UST. The Contemporary Romantic Suspense is far more explicit but the suspense plot will be nearly as important as the romance.

Question -- do you read outside your main genre? For example, if you read primarily Paranormal Romance or Contemporary Romance or Erotica, do you also read YA novels?

I wish there were three of me so I could write all three simultaneously!

Sorry for my absence for the past while but I've been dealing with a lot of RL stuff and of course, have been adjusting to life as a full-time author. :) It's a tough job but someone has to do it!

I keep shaking my head and thinking -- they PAY me to write erotic romance novels with beautiful Alpha men?

An update on my plans for release of Unrestrained -- Book 3 of the Unrestrained Series:

I am more than half done but the going is slow. I will take most of the rest of December to finish the novel so I won't be pestering you with beta requests during the holidays unless I am done early. *listens to the cheers* But if you are not available from the 20th to the end of the month, let me know for I might be done by the 20th if writing goes well. I will ask for beta readers once I am done, though, so let me know if you will be available. Once the beta read is done, the book will be revised and a line edit will be undertaken so that the book will be released in the middle of January 2014 - probably, if all goes as planned, sometime between the 15th - 20th of January. I will also send out ARCs for early reviews after the 15th of January so if you want to be part of that, let me know.

I will be doing some promotion in January, including organizing a blog tour and cover reveal, etc. Any help spreading the word from my first readers and beta readers will be appreciated!

Hi there -- some of you volunteered to beta read my YA / NA historical fantasy / high fantasy with a romance at its heart but the HEA isn't until the very end of the series. It's definitely dark. No explicit sex although there is sex, but its offstage. I'm working on it when I need a break from Book 3 of the Unrestrained series and I might have a good chunk of it ready soon. I'd love some feedback so if you are still interested in reading and offering feedback, let me know! It's definitely plot-heavy.

The final book in the Unrestrained Series is in the works and I am looking for beta readers who are willing to read along as I finish chunks of the novel and offer feedback on how it's working -- or not. Last book, I waited until the end to send the draft off to beta readers and I think I'd prefer to get feedback along the way. If you absolutely hate reading only partials and want to wait until the end to beta read, I understand, but I really need some early feedback on how the novel is working.
