sorry, Amy, totally skipped my mind yesterday! I just remembered half hour ago oop!
#babybrain"I was going to see if you posted this morning, and then post if you didn't. I will try to be more on top of it in the future.
Bea wrote: "I noticed that category G and I are for authorS, (plural). Does that mean a book written by multiple male/female authors or can it just be one author?"I was looking at what people used in the prior months, i.e. Female Authors in February, and it looks like everyone is using books written by just one author.

no there wasn't an announcement... I'm only just on 10 weeks so early days yet. I've told my colleagues yesterday though so it's public knowledge now. I told Lyn earlier on, in case..."I'm glad to hear that the nausea isn't as bad as the last time. I know it was brutal then.

i was going to make a formal announcement, but I was waiting to see how it would go. Last time we lost Tien for the duration. Hoping this one goes better for you. CONGRATS!

I'd better get looking for my Male POV as we are flying through these and it will be my turn again before I know it.
Tien wrote: "Good question, Debi. an anthology or collection of short stories are good. like Lyn said, I was referring to stand alone short story."Thanks Tien. :)

Rule 4 does say short story, novellas, and picture books excluded, but I read that to mean stand alone short stories.
Hopefully Tien will be on later and give us the definitive answer.
Kaitlin wrote: "I'd be interested in your opinion of it. I'm about 60 pages in and the jury is still out. Interesting concept though, having the story told from death's point of view."I could never get past the death's POV part. It just didn't work for me, so I never got past the first chapter. I hear it is a lot better after that, though.

Wow, there are a lot of good books listed here. I need to do nothing but read. :)

I loved you comment about it being too scary to read at night home alone. I have several books that I feel that way about, too.

I don't know if I have heard about that one, Nadine. I may have to check it out.

I wonder if the narrator did a good job. I read the print version and it is one of my favorite books of all time. But then, I liked the jumping back and forth, especially the way that the author had the main character find something hidden in the book, and that made the jump to the past. The thought of all the things that can be stuck in a book and the history that books hide really sparked my imagination.
