8565 I read Cat Trick by Sofie Kelly. I gave it 3*.

Two feral cats have adopted a librarian and help her solve mysteries. Each cat has a paranormal talent. This is a fun cozy mystery with wonderful characters. I picked it up from a Free Library kiosk and now will have to find the previous 3 books and any others to continue with this series.

I second the librarian nomination.

8565 I might miss out on this week. I just put a hold on The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave at the library, but all copies are checked out or being transferred to another library. Might take a bit of time to get my hands on this one.

8565 I haven't started reading yet for this game. I wonder if I will play it after all. Very few of the books overlap other games.

8565 My use of GR ratings:

* hated it
** barely got through it...just OK
*** liked it but there were some drawbacks
**** enjoyed the story and well-written
***** impacted my own life in some way - truly outstanding

Note: I rarely DNF a book.
Note 2: I give mostly 3 & 4 stars, and I wish there was a system that allowed a 0.5 in many cases.

Yep, that's me...panicking that the target is going up.

War and Peace(not on my LOST list) is on Play Books on my phone(free) so I will read it when I am waiting somewhere---unless it starts grabbing me then I'll have to read it at home too! "

I really liked John Adams, and, since I like history, I found it really kept me going. But, I am usually intimidated by Big Books. I haven't tackled War and Peace and doubt that I will. Much admiration for you.

8565 I look at it this way. I get a large portion of my books from the library and am not exactly in control of when they arrive. If I start them during the month they count. I'd love to finish them each month, but it is not always possible.
