8565 I stopped at ch. 11 last night. I wonder what Kaladin will do now. His whole life has been focused on protecting his men...and the ones he loves. I can feel his loss. I hope Syl finds a way to help him.

Sometimes, if I am really wrapped up in a book, it enters my dreams and I dream up new chapters. That happened last night with this one. Don't remember it well enough, though, to describe it.
8565 So after reading your tea review, Tien, I googled it for my area, fully expecting not to find it. Wow! I found several places that sell it. Definitely will have to try it out! The reviews were great for the most part for each of the locations.

I'm still going on LBI too :)"

5 books to go, Lagullande. 2 for November, 3 for December.
8565 Wow! Lusie, you have passed me. I did not read yesterday, so my mistake. I'm working on 6 right now.

Oh, I had better stick to tea for the game! Dang but that looks fun.

only blue, green, or yellow, sorry, that's the only colours in Uno ;p"

Oops, I have to rework my plan.

I read chapter 1. I'm slowly recalling who is who lol
Interesting that that are more types of fused. It's a bit scary how that one fights against Kal."

Yes, I find that I am worried about him and his tiredness.

I'm in the midst of ch. 5. I am still trying to put together who is who and their back story from the previous book. The author helps a little by including a bit of a hint here and there, but jeez there are a lot of characters to catch up with! Still...I like it.

Rhythm of War for Buddy Read and JRI 1
8565 I am on chapter 4 of the first part. I finished off 3 other books today and so should be able to make faster headway for a bit. It has taken me a bit to remember the story but it is starting to come together a bit.

Finished this one. Fictional stories set around Aiken SC about horse statues coming to life. Best level is young adult or middle grade. Still it was local writers writing about local places.

I was going to start it yesterday but didn't get around to it. I will see how today goes. Doesn't look like I will be that much ahead of you.

8565 I have also finished The Midnight Library. It was supposed to be my December book, but also fits for January. I gave it 4*.

This book came along at the same time that I usually consider what I have done during the year and what I hope to do in the new year. It is my life's resolution time. It always amazes me how the books I choose also fit my particular life.

It was delightful to find that as she grew to know what she wanted/needed/desired with all her heart was LIFE in all its messy, gritty, wonder-filled bits. I loved this book.

So, I guess with two time-travel books under my wing back-to-back, I am more willing to engage with this genre. Nice.

This book tried to be more scientific but only as a small part of her reasoning.
8565 My book is due for renewal on 1/18/22 but I have 2 renewals available to me, so I think I am fine for the full time...even if it takes longer.

When do you want to start?
8565 OK. Got the book.

Here are the chapters and divisions per index:

Prologue: P. 19-33 (14p)
Part 1: 33-277 (244p)
Interlude: 277-295 (18p)
Part 2: 295-547 (252p)
Interlude: 547-575 (28p)
Part 3: 575-829 (254p)
Interlude: 829-843 (14p)
Part 4: 843-1053 (210p)
Interlude:1053-1069 (16p)
Part 5: 1069-1214 (145p)
Epilogue to end: 1214-1230 (16p)

If we do it this way (see below), it would take 5 weeks.
1st week: Prologue + Part 1 (258 pages)
Interlude + Part 2 (270 pages)
Interlude + Part 3 (282 pages - the largest of all weeks)
Interlude + Part 4 (244 pages)
Interlude + Part 5 + Epilogue to end (177 pages)

Does that look do-able to you?

During week 3, it would average to a high of 40 pages a day. I think I could do that, since it would only be that high for one week.

8565 Starting Nights of Horseplay: Equine fantasies from South Carolina's thoroughbred country for Trim 21.

That game allowed me to pick all books that I own for Part 1. This will be the second one that I have read out of 9 picked. When I finish this trim, I will have made a nice dent in books I own.
