chapter 11
(view spoiler)[ I'm listening to the audiobook a bit faster while reading along and I flew over the real Kathleen being dead, but now that I re-read that part I'm still confused.
“I won’t call you Celia,” her father said at the port, lifting their suitcases. “That’s not the name I gave you at birth.” He cast her a glance askew. “But I will call you Kathleen. And save for Rosalind, you may tell no one. It’s for your own safety. You must realize that.”
Do/did the triplets Kathleen, Rosalind and Celia have a brother OR was Celia trans and took the name Celia?? (hide spoiler)]chapter 16
(view spoiler)[ Oh-oh.. is Alisa infected?
For a second I was afraid for Ben. (hide spoiler)]I finished chapter 20.
How goes your reading?
Any thoughts?
The book got a bit interesting with the insects like I told you, but there's no change for me after that. I'm going to finish the book because there's not much left, but this one wasn't for me.

I finished 🎉🎉
Things did get more interesting at the end.
(view spoiler)[I liked how Aelin played Maeve, and that she freed Rowan.
Poor Dorian, like shit is going to happen to him. Also, Sorcha.. I mean, I still don't feel she fit right into the book. Her being a rebel okay would've been okay if we had more hints to it or her actually doing something instead of just being with Dorian. (hide spoiler)]

So I wanted to finish the book today, but I'm also BRing These Violent Delights and I was a lot behind on it so I read that instead. Even though I had the same idea like you, to finish it before the point count... that won't happen.

[spoilers removed]"(view spoiler)[ The bugs are super gross, but that's the thing that made me feel interested in the book 😂 so that's good. I do wonder how the bugs get in and no one notices, or maybe they do.
The Secretary-General of the Communists is named Gutai, and in the beginning the guy that died in the club said Guài to Juliette.. do you think that maybe that's what he was trying to say but couldn't and she misheard? Maybe they had a meeting at the docks or whatever the place was where Roma found the Club guy's shoe, and then the SG let out the bugs. (hide spoiler)]

Prologue - Chapter 5
[spoilers removed]"I finally managed to read the first 5 chapters and.. unlike you I'm not that into it 😅 I had to make myself listen through the chapters. I don't know what it is but something isn't clicking for me. So far I'm only intrigued about the Roma-Juliette history, although we got a hint with the bomb.
I like Benedict and Marshall, so I have at least them to look forward to.

I've read yesterday and gotten up to 80% but I was too tired to make a post here.
I don't know if I have anything to comment 😅 Maybe reading it over a month is screwing up how I see the book, but I don't feel like anything super excited has happened. Some things started happening now where I'm at so maybe that'll be interesting but yeah.. nothing much to comment.
Sorcha: I wouldn't be surprised if something is going on with her, but if nothing happens I'll be surprised it didn't because it really doesn't work.
How are you guys doing?

🙈😂 your feeling is right. I haven't read it in a few days, had some other things to do, and that'll be the case tomorrow too. So I'll try reading it from Friday-Sunday (hopefully I'll finish it before Sunday for those points)

Oh, girl don't worry, I'm more than a day behind 🙈 I haven't moved from ch1

I'm going to start this now because if I don't, I honestly don't know how I'll make myself 🙈
Edit: well hell... maybe I want to read but other people playing loud stuff and music are killing my mood because I can't hear shit what the audiobook is saying. With the current situation being.. what it is, I listened to the prologue and chapter 1.

I made some progress. I wanted to catch up to you, and read the spoiler, but I'm not feeling like reading more today so I only finished chapter 43.
Reading about Chaol and that crew is the least exciting part of the book for now. And I don't have much to say about anything other because I didn't read that much to have something to comment.

Yes, the journal scene was brutal, it just showed the canyon between mother and daughter. (hide spoiler)]

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the Clap when you land. Even though both had a real feeling about them, Poet X sounded darker.
(view spoiler)[I felt bad for Xio that her mother tried to fit X into one of her expectations, how she made her feel bad simply for being female SO I was glad when she finally went to the poetry club and started opening up, and making new friends. However, her mother finding her book of poems and burning it almost made me cry; that was really cruel. I'm glad that in the end they started working on their relationship. (hide spoiler)]

I finished one of the tasks, the Latinx MC/author and since I'm going to read the same author's other book I'll cover the same task again.

Finished it! I liked it, I don't know what else to say. I'm glad the girls got to connect.

I'm going to jump in on this one, but first I want and need to finish Clap when you Land. Thankfully I got the audio for Poet X so I should be able to catch up easily.
