Dammit, and I haven't moved from chapter 16 or 17, I don't even know which one.. I came home around an hour ago, and I'm tired so I think I won't pick it up today either.

Well, we have a lot of the book left.. so obviously the curse breaking is going to be a longer process.

Yeah... at this moment we are only assuming the sentinel is her betrothed.. also, why would he call the other dude by his name? that intrigues me. As for the shoe.. cinderella is not part of chinese mythology so... 😂 I really hope that won't happen.

I like how certain words remind me of Spin the Dawn 😃 I also like that she's close to one of her brothers.

I started it and read the fist 3 chapters.
I'm liking it, the MC really is funny and I like the way the story is narrated. I actually forgot who the author was and what they wrote, and now that I saw who I see the story giving me the same vibes as Spin the Dawn.

I had one of the books in my laptop, I thought it was the second but it turned out it's the third.. which all doesn't matter because what I came here to tell you is that I just discovered that there are not only three books in the series as I thought, but the fourth gets out next year, and it shows that there are/will be 6 books.

And as I am curious I read the synopsis of all that there was and I'm :O what is going on??? The hell is going on? I know I said I don't want to pick the next books, but I'm legit curious now.

I couldn't get over that it was happening very fast so I couldn't turn off that 😅 which is why I was annoyed with their love parts

The gargoyle came out of nowhere...which is sad because that's kinda unique and cool, at least I haven't read much or any books with gargoyles.

I'm definitely not picking it up, it was good to get me a bit out of my slump but I didn't enjoy it that much. I only have to read the Jaxon chapters at the end of the books, the ones that I thought were from book 2.

I continued reading it and the book started annoying me 😅 She got close to Jaxon and she's so much INTO him that just makes me roll my eyes. And now believing him without hearing out someone else's point of view is going on my nerves. However, I am curious to why Flint tried killing her, like whaaat?

😂 😂 😂 wow, this thing with Lia... I don't know but I find it funny.. I guess I got to the point where I don't care a bit for the book and I find this super silly.

Okay, so I finished the book
(view spoiler)[Ooookay she's a gargoyle... what? I feel like that's just out of the blue, but also it's interesting, not that it'll make me pick the second book to find out more. I have some extra parts, possibly the first 3 chapters from book 2 and that I will skim through.

After they got together and all lovey-dovey .. it made me sick, because it was super insta love, and the I-love-yous they exchanged.. just no. Do they even know each other for like a week at least? (hide spoiler)]

Okay, I got to the earthquake part. For a second I was scared I absolutely haven't payed attention. Macy jokes that Grace brought the quakes with her.. what to do you think, could that be possible?

*Wow, Grace is an artist or an art lover.. oh, look at that she can also play the drums.. there was something in the beginning that was her thing too but I forgot.. Kinda looks like the author is making her *special*

Chapter 33. Is Grace a witch? 😮 because of the comment Jaxon makes. Also WHAT is the reason he does nice things for Grace?

Chapter 34,, Okay, so maybe Jaxon is causing the earthquakes. First time he was worried for her, now there was that kiss.. I am really curious to what the hell is going on.

Chapter 35. Wooooooooooow. So she lost blood and she still only thinks of getting to Jaxon, and she's going to sneak out 🙄 So dumb.

Finished chapter 43 and that's where I'm stopping. I really like the short chapters 😃 I read a lot and time just flew by.

yes, short chapters are perfect. I haven't started reading for today, and I'm feeling a bit sleepy so I don't know if I'll read.. but if I do I'll comment.

What thoughts do you have about the book? Any ideas what's going to happen?

Her infatuation is killing me! This may be fun to read, but I don't know what could make me read the second one.

*Grace going into the library and then thinking it's okay to go into a place that says you need permission to enter... This girl doesn't understand stuff.

I'm on chapter 17 and I'm really curious, like what kind of creatures we have at the academy. Flint must be a dragon, because Macy slipped the "dra" and I have no idea what else it could be. And Jaxon must be a vampire.. but what about the other people..

Chapter 18. Like seriously what's going on with Grace and Jaxon.. it's not only her being smitten with him, he has a thing for her too.. and I really hope it's something more to it than just insta-love.

Finished chapter 27; by the procentage I think we are on the same chapters or very close. If nothing else the reading goes fast.

I started Crave again, and it's a BR so I'm hoping that'll make me read, and since it's easy I hope to really want to read Queen of Shadows after that. I'm so sad reading became something I feel indifferent about this year.
