I'm of course behind on reading because games are far more interesting than reading. Oops. But also because I thought you weren't reading, or at least commenting, in the thread so I was okay don't HAVE to pick it up...yet. However, even though I commented in the thread it didn't notify me about the activity.

I read chapter 4, and will read ch 5 too. That's how much will to read I'll manage.

I still stand behind the liking the writing. There's just something that sits right with me. It's not too descriptive, but describes the story well.

Generally I like books set in middle-east for some reason, it could be the mythology that it has, that is always interesting to me no matter whose mythology is told. Mixing the old world, early 1900s, with magic is so interesting to me plus it's not hidden magic because everyone knows of the djinn's existece.

I have to say that I was surprised when Siti appeared, not by her appearence, but the kissing and the relationship. I guess I haven't been expecting it so it came a bit as a shock to me. So many things ahead of its time if we compare it to our world.

I did read the first chapter on the right date, but very close to the end I fell asleep...oops. I'm gonna try and read at least the other two that were planned for the first day. By how things started I'm afraid I won't follow the plan.
