As soon as Bella opened her eyes, Max focused his eyes on them.
"You are not in pain," Max muttered. His eyes were filled with tears from all the energy he was using... He had to stall curing her until he could explain what he was attempting to do... in case he didn't make it...

Urrrgh, Max thought. I'm REALLY rusty.
"Open your eyes and you will feel better...," droned Max. He could calm her better if she opened her eyes...

"Bella!," Max said. He began to use his voice hypnosis (which was a little rusty, as he favored his eyes) "Bella, wake up, dear... you are completely safe...be calm...," he droned

A curious question was building up insideof Max. He wondered if he should let Bella know the truth about his hypnotism and how he planned to cure her. His original plan had been to hypnotise Bella and then make her and the others think he had some kind of miracle medicine or something. No, he decided.He would tell Bella- and only Bella-the truth and make her swear to never tell a soul.
"Hello, Princess Bella," he said. "I am sorry that this had to happen to you. But I have a secret. A secret I intend to use to save you. That is, if you allow me. " Bella's eyes darted from Max to Jink to Max again. Max chuckled. "Don't worry about Jink. He won't hurt you."
"Now,"Max continued. "Have you ever heard of the 'myth' of hypnotism?"

Max strode up the castle stairs, Lynn scurrying to keep up with him.
Jink gave a soft, worrisome growl every few minutes. He feared for Max. Yes, he was an excellent hypnotist, but hypnotism required so much strength... He could not imagine a life without his dear friend, always beside him.
They soon reached the top of the staircase, where Lynn led them down a hallway and into a room.
Max mumbled a thank you to Lynn and shuffled into the room, Jink behind him.
Bella lay on a bed her weary eyes looking up at him, and then widening when Jink came into the room.
"If you don't mind, Miss," Max said, addressing a handmaid nearby. "I'd like to be alone with Bella."

Ahem. 2:10 pm, is what I meant. He he.

Well g'night everyone! I'll be home from school at around 2:10 so I hope we can continue our adventure tomorrow! ;)

Max impatiently waited for Lynn to come back with a message from the king, and hopefully the kings consent...
"I still think this is a bad idea. YOU ARE RISKING YOUR LIFE!!!"Jink thought to Max.
"I don't care," Max snarled. "I will not sit back and watch this girl die when I can do something."

As soon as Lynn had relayed the message to Max, he sighed. This king sure was stubborn. Well here goes..., he thought.
"ITell him I'm a doctor who knows how to cure Bella. Tell him that if he wants to save his daughter, he has to trust me," Max told Lynn. "Oh, and I almost forgot-" He locked eyes with Lynn and againhis eyes gleamed silver. "You were never hypnotised," he said.
