A lot of people felt that way, which is why I never got back to the series after Divergent. I was so frustrated to hear the series didn't keep it's awesome momentum, and then when I found out about that ending it ust pissed me off to no end.

I have a feeling she won't allow them to change it drastically enough to make me happy. From what I've read, she was very strong in her beliefs about why she chose that crappy ending (I know, I know, there are fans of the ending, but I just wish she'd have made things seem one way and then turn around to be a HEA or something...), and unless they force her I can't see her going another route...maybe an alternate ending option? lol

I'm curious about GoTaS, too. The cover draws me in every time I see it, but the low ratings make me hesitant.

Yeah, I was SO disappointed with how this series went. Divergent was my all-time fave dystopian and I absolutely adored the characters, and then I heard Insurgent was slow and of course the debacle that is that ending in Allegiant. Such a shame, even the first movie was great but I'm nervous about seeing the rest of them.

Flew through , definitely took a lot longer to build up this time but it's kind of what I expected with Jimmy's story. He was a VERY hard nut to crack! I didn't love Lena as much as Ev and Anne, but the climax was so painful, I loved it!! Can't believe I have to wait two months until now, dangit! I don't want to say goodbye to these boys though, so I guess it's better that there's a wait for the final story.

Girl, it's what's happening more and more lately since I haven't had time to keep up at all. I'm scrambling to catch up on blog reviews so when I finally get a chance to read something just for me, I forget to go back to these older series that I adore!

Okay, well I'll keep it in the pile for a day I need a good tear-jerker. It's always good to have one that can rip into your soul when you need it!

Finished and it was hugely frustrating and a bit disappointing. That series has gone too long, I'm afraid.

I loved Lick, but Mal made David pale in comparison, so definitely pick it back up!

Is this one a sad ending? I like the sad stories but not sad endings, so if what I think happens does, I just can't!!

Ugh, okay now I have to go read this one because you're all going on and on about it and I dropped this series to get on blog reviews...such torture, reading all of these yummy PNR stories!!! ;-)

I had this up for blog review and held onto it for ages. Finally read it last month and really enjoyed it; I'm interested in knowing how the rest of the series goes, so post when you're done!

LOVE this series, I am going to get back to it now that I'm pretty well caught up on Ward's series. Showalter was a go-to read for me for a long time, need more of her!
