I definitely didn't think the second was better! I liked the YA romance aspect in the first and I felt like that was completely dropped in book 2, it dragged a bit for me, too. It did get better but I without a doubt liked the first book better. Hope you end up liking it!

I was flipping back through to catch up and I don't think I ever replied to this, but yay!! And I'm so glad my list was to your liking! =)

Hemlock! Haven't seen that one on this thread in ages, I completely forgot about that series. I loved the first, the second was pretty good. Definitely want to finish the series, though, glad you're starting it!

Oh I loved both!! Full Measures was a hard act to follow, but ETS still made me melt and swoon big time. =)

I agree completely! I've come across a lot like this, there's only so much story you can get out of some series and the authors just don't get that.

I want to start this series soon, I kept adding it to the pile then taking it off for something else!

Oh, I'm just going to have to start this if they're that good! Loving the idea of something different!

Yeah, I think if anything I'll toss one of hers in every now and then, but I'm definitely not doing a series read by her anytime soon. I think all JLA fans are seriously bummed out right now, she was like a writing goddess to me and I feel like she went and made herself too commercial. She's out of touch with her readers!!

Oooooh, well it's getting an add to my list, then! ;-)

LOL yep, you read it backwards but they are both on my favorites list and I absolutely loved them both!! Sorry you had to get the story out of order, hope you still enjoyed JU in the end!

Thoughtless just...mmm, *le sigh* loved it!!

Holy crap, she's on #11?! I started that series and never got ..."
I know, I wish now I'd just read straight through for some of these. I've forgotten all of the characters for LOTU and Ione's Demonica series, but I was so addicted when I read them!

I liked Rehv's book, he's a tough nut to love but I do enjoy the bad boys!

Sorry you aren't liking it, hope it picks up when you get back to it! And yes, can't pass up Cora!

Holy crap, she's on #11?! I started that series and never got back to it even though I LOVED it, may need to bump it up since I'm all but finished with Ward's series.

Going right into [bookcover:Ori..."
Glad you're loving it! I grew tired by the fourth book but it was awesome the first few!
