I definitely didn't think the second was better! I liked the YA romance aspect in the first and I felt like that was completely dropped in book 2, it dragged a bit for me, too. It did get better but I without a doubt liked the first book better. Hope you end up liking it!

So my head is a mess right now with holiday planning and school events for the kids, and I can't remember what I've posted recently. lol So if anything is a repeat, just ignore!

I finished and loved it, and which may be my fave of the series so far!!

Read , it was good but not up to par with Sivec's other series, and , a gritty and sexy story that's not for everyone but I really liked.

Next up is , haven't read from this series in a long time so hopefully I can pull details from the cobwebs of my memory!

Hemlock! Haven't seen that one on this thread in ages, I completely forgot about that series. I loved the first, the second was pretty good. Definitely want to finish the series, though, glad you're starting it!

Oh I loved both!! Full Measures was a hard act to follow, but ETS still made me melt and swoon big time. =)

I agree completely! I've come across a lot like this, there's only so much story you can get out of some series and the authors just don't get that.

Yeah, I think if anything I'll toss one of hers in every now and then, but I'm definitely not doing a series read by her anytime soon. I think all JLA fans are seriously bummed out right now, she was like a writing goddess to me and I feel like she went and made herself too commercial. She's out of touch with her readers!!

I'm about 75% into , Yarros' newest, and it's awesome so far. I can tell the sh*t is about to hit the fan, though, so I'm bracing myself for some pain! Definitely another great read by Yarros though, if you haven't read her debut you must!!

LOL yep, you read it backwards but they are both on my favorites list and I absolutely loved them both!! Sorry you had to get the story out of order, hope you still enjoyed JU in the end!

I know, I wish now I'd just read straight through for some of these. I've forgotten all of the characters for LOTU and Ione's Demonica series, but I was so addicted when I read them!

I liked Rehv's book, he's a tough nut to love but I do enjoy the bad boys!

Holy crap, I just finished and I'm speechless. My favorite of the series so far, and I LOVED the first two! Damn, Keri Lake never ceases to amaze me!

Just got my ARC of yesterday and I'm hooked like an old lady on prune juice! If you haven't read this series, it is MUST read for PNR fans. Keri is such a gifted storyteller, if she had the right agent she'd be right up there with Showalter, Ward, and Ione. Sexy Wrath demons (we get the succubi action in this one!!), lycans, gut-wrenching thrills and chills, and of course some serious hits to the heart. LOVE this series!!

Glad you're loving it! I grew tired by the fourth book but it was awesome the first few!
