Well, maybe I'll just scrap it then. I hate to do that because we all know how much love I've got for Jen, but I'm so not feeling this and if it's more of the same up to the end then there's just no point wasting the time I don't have! lol Thanks, ladies!

Yeah, I think I may skim through just to be done with it, I wish she'd wrapped it up in four books instead of dragging it out.

51477 Finished One to Love (One to Hold, #4) by Tia Louise and I'm bummed that I wasn't a huge fan. The characters both had some serious flaws that I couldn't get past, it messed up the whole vibe. On to the next!

I'm feeling the same exact thing about Lux. I've been VERY slowly reading, like a few pages every few days, and I keep hoping something will get me hooked. Not working so far! =(

I've read the first two books in this series The Siren (The Original Sinners, #1) by Tiffany Reisz The Angel (The Original Sinners, #2) by Tiffany Reisz , all of the novellas, and the first of the White Years. This was a tough series for me. I have no problem whatsoever with the taboo and even the more gritty unsettling stories, and this was absolutely a one-of-a-kind series (you can get this much just from book 1, it's intense). It's just not for everyone because Nora is a VERY strong-willed heroine who comes across as detached in some ways, which I didn't like. She has to be that way to be the character she is, and you've got to love her for that. But the dynamic of her loving a man that can never fully give himself to her and then freely giving herself to several other men that she then grows to love...it just became too much like a swinger relationship for me at times. Just my opinion, and I was still absolutely impressed by Reisz because these books are just incomparable.

Very happy to hear that, I'm just starting out with this series and it's always good to know there's something to look forward to. =)

I hate books that have every character cookie cutter perfect, it's so unrealistic and just makes you want to start the eye rolling! Sorry you didn't enjoy!

51477 Dang, you've all been chatty on here the last few days!! I actually got some reading time in and finished Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover which was of course really good but not my fave of Colleen's, and ironically I also read Someday Maybe (Definitely Maybe, #2) by Ophelia London which was just okay.

On to Finding You (Escaping, #2) by Elizabeth Lee and One to Love (One to Hold, #4) by Tia Louise and Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles, #1) by Melina Marchetta because it finally came in the mail!

51477 Someone might have already mentioned this, but as I checked out Tall, Tatted and Tempting (The Reed Brothers, #1) by Tammy Falkner per the suggestions on here, I noticed the ebook is free on Amazon! Grab it up now if you want it!

Yeah, I think I remember actually liking the story overall, but the writing just wasn't up to par.

51477 Finished Be My Hero (Forbidden Men, #3) by Linda Kage today, another solid heartbreaker from Kage. Definitely add it to the TBR if you haven't already!

Yeah, I'm just itching to get through the last period of tension and danger and finally see them walk off into the now dystopian sunset. LOL

I'm about at pg. 200 and haven't been sucked in like I usually am, but like you I just love anything JLA. I think at this point it's just that I don't want to see the bad times again, I'm just wanting that HEA already! =)

I'm starting SM now too; the first wasn't phenomenal IMO anyway so I'm not necessarily excited about this one, but it sounds good. Hope we both end up enjoying it more than we think!

Me, too, especially when I watch Knight's Tale because he was SO adorably sweet and romantic in that one and ugh it's like having your favorite book character die only brought to real life. Okay, I'm already weepy today so I'm going to stop gushing about him now. lol

I know, I cringe every time I pop back on here because I'm so behind these days and there is a never a day when there aren't new books to add to the TBR from this thread!
