Yep, I find myself enjoying this series much more because I don't keep feeling the need to skim through pages or stop to figure out which character's head I'm in. Though, admittedly this also makes the IAD series VERY hard to put down because there just really isn't a spot where I think to myself "okay, here's a good stopping point." I just want the whole enchilada at once! =)

I know, I loved Ward's series too, but the flip-flop POV and being in the mind of the characters we're supposed to loathe got to me. Her writing is incredible, I just got tired of the constant shifting.

51477 Just grabbed up the entire rest of the IAD series off of Thriftbooks.com for half the price on amazon!! So excited, I really wasn't looking forward to spending $70 on these books but I'm addicted and just can't stop. lol

I swear, I was hooked on these like a cat on catnip from the minute I cracked them open, it's all of the great stuff of Ward's series without the snooze sessions in between!

51477 OHMYGERD I could not put Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night (Immortals After Dark, #4) by Kresley Cole down!! This series is going to suck my wallet dry, every time I finish one I need the next ASAP. Need to see if our library or used book store has any so I can save some $$, because at $8 a book I'm looking at too big of an investment by the time I get caught up.

I can't even imagine! Just missing a few days on this thread puts me back about 10 books, but I started just staying on the last page so I don't stress out trying to keep up...because it's impossible!

Oh no! I thought for sure you'd love this one! But like Belkis said, we can't all love everything. Lol

How many will be in this series? I want to read the next ones, too, if I can find them in the library. Spending too much money on Kresley Cole's other series right now!!

51477 So Cole has replaced Ward as my fave PNR writer for sure, I loved every second of No Rest for the Wicked (Immortals After Dark, #3) by Kresley Cole and now I'm already diving into Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night (Immortals After Dark, #4) by Kresley Cole because she's just that awesome at sucking you in!

Also got my ARC of Spend the Night II (The Hotel Collection, #2) by Elizabeth Lee and didn't put it down until I finished it, Elizabeth has me so twisted up with this serial and waiting another week to figure everything out is going to be torture!!

I was getting way behind after a major book slump, so I've been flying through them over the past couple of weeks. Missed getting excited over books, as I know you can relate!!

I think I'll try, I'll just toss the movie out of my mind and go in blind. lol

Ooooh, see you and Brooke have me intrigued, I'll push to get to them if I decide to see the second movie!

That's good, I'm happy to hear there are enough differences that it might not have ruined it for me! I bought both books so I need to eventually get to it.

Really enjoyed that series, too, it's so different and refreshing.

Right there with ya, I devoured Sebastian and Kaderin's book and I had to dive right into WDoaWN. This series is better than BDB, just as sexy and addicting without having to sit through being inside the enemy's head every other chapter!

51477 Tracy wrote: "I haven't cried yet to The Fault in Our Stars by John Green but I have laughed so loud. Their meeting with he author and some of the things he said cracked me up."

Yep, there were a lot of laughs before the tears, for sure. Part of what made this such an awesome story!

51477 Started another serial for review Miami Hush Club Episode 1 (Miami Hush Club #1) by Michelle Warren , not as good as Elizabeth Lee's but still a great read so far. Spend the Night I (The Hotel Collection, #1) by Elizabeth Lee is available, by the way, and that one I definitely recommend!!

I've gotten myself sucked into No Rest for the Wicked (Immortals After Dark, #3) by Kresley Cole which of course I'll be stuck on until I finish, and I'm reading Forgotten Sins (Sin Brothers, #1) by Rebecca Zanetti and The Five Stages of Falling in Love by Rachel Higginson for review. Both look pretty good, and after reading some slightly disappointing ones-- Bringing Home the Bad Boy (Second Chance, #1) by Jessica Lemmon and Extreme Close-Up (Perspectives, #1) by Julie Jaret -- I'm really hoping so!

So glad you liked it! You must read Play, though, I liked it even more and it's LOL funny.

I'm right back there with ya, finally got No Rest for the Wicked in the mail and did NOT mean to start it today, but now I can't stop reading. Figures!

I'm debating on this one still. I have both books, but after seeing the movie I was kind of turned off by it. Didn't like the actor they chose and the chemistry wasn't great, so now I've got that visual for the read. Maybe if I can wrap my head around picturing someone else! lol Glad you loved it hon, tears and all!
