Where do you find this stuff? LOL"
Sadly, I live a pathetica..."
That just made my night. One of the funniest things I've ever heard...and now I'm seriously thinking about adding a theme before I do my Christmas shopping. I love it!

Now we're expecting a baby (due in March) so I've decided the house WILL be done by March (well, as done as a house ever will be)...
Soooo...I'm on my way to go sand some furniture for our guest room so I can paint it later this week. Wish me luck! :)

I agree with Missyb that Anita and Jean Claude are so great together too, how..."
"Hallo Kitten" - Oh god, you do not want to hear what that does to me. ;) lol.

The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the identity:
Rani of The Arctic
Known in some parts of the world as:
Minerva of Sewer Rats
The Great Archives Record:
This one sinks low and is prosperous. Breeding many times over.

Q&A - I was asked if we could set up a group read around one of the give-aways going on. Another author asked if I was interested in doing a Q&A with her and having her book as a group read. Taryn - I like the idea of a chat time set up. I'll ask K.C. Blake who is going to be our Nov. group read about that. And I'm going to have a thread open for questions for the author until about Nov. 20th. Then give her a few days to answer them. Maybe after she answers those setting up a chat time at the end of the month?
Holiday challenge - I'm going to start putting this together right this sec, so if you have any fun suggestions let me know.
November challenge - Have we started putting anything together for this yet? Taryn do you want to handle this? *smiling innocently here*
February book release calendar - Sylvie - could you handle posting this up at your conveyance? *again smiling innocently here*
And lastly - I'm finally over the worst of my morning sickness. It was so bad my doc had to prescribe me with something for it. I'm 19 weeks along and still have to take the medicine 1-2 times a week. Uggh. Taryn - I envy your easy pregnancies. So, since I've pretty much been the boy who cried wolf with saying I'll be on here more, I'm not going to say it. But I really hope this time that will be true. Thanks gals! I miss you two!

Voting started today and ends OCTOBER 28th!

Is the highlander book a vamp book Katya? I didn't think so, so I didn't include it in our poll....let me know if I was wrong. :)

For some reason I had not heard of these books before the series came on and it kinda of ruined it for me. I have managed to get throu..."
As Michelle and Adria said, after the first season, the show and books really start going in completely different directions. Try to get through the second book...I think you'll end up really liking it!

Have a great trip! Look forward to having you back soon!

All you have to do is post to this thread a book you'd like to nominate. I'll add it to the list and then we'll start voting on nominated books on October 20. (See schedule below)
You can nominate two types of books:
- First in series or stand-alone that we haven't previously read as a group
- Continued Read (i.e. #2 in series if we've read #1 as a group read previously) See our previously read books at Group Reads To-Date
The top two winners from each group (after votes) will be our 4 group reads for the month of November.
It doesn't matter what type of book it is (UF, PN, YA), as long as there are vampires in it!
NOVEMBER GROUP READS SCHEDULE
October 11 - 19 ~ Nominate books (as many as you want)
