I'm in this month. I've been reading enough again I should be able to get at least fledging status. And then I'll go from there.

Lol. I haven't done a challenge in a while, but when I used to I would plan it out and then end up changing everything around when I read completely different books!

I know you will only get one notification until you check back with the thread (even if 10 people comment). But once you go back and check it again, you should get a notification again after that. If that's not working, I have no idea why that would be (other than goodreads being finicky).

I like the idea Katya! Maybe just starting off with a thread of the character, what books they're in, some highlights of their roles and why we love them. And starting off with just a few characters and letting it build from there, similar to what we did with the vampire worlds/series.

I'd like a place to talk about why I love certain characters so much. And I'd also like to hear about vampires I haven't read about yet.

Some that quickly come to mind:
Eric, Bones, Cat, all of the brothers, etc.

Is that kind of what you had in mind?

Looks good Sylvie! I like the idea of the bonus book being able to replace any of the other ones. And the zombie one is a hoot.

Question #3: What is your #1 can't wait book to be released in 2013?

I love this series!

I think I've come up with my answer to #2.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead.

This is young adult and would provide a great taste of the genre without offending someone with more delicate sensibilities than I. Depending upon their reaction to that, different books would be recommended.

Question 2: What ONE vampire book or series would you recommend to someone that had never read a vampire book before?

I'm getting the feeling I'm extremely spoiled with my local library. No late fees and huge selection of books and ebooks!
