47034 I finished this book. I ended up really liking it! Is anyone else reading it?

47034 I just started reading this yesterday. I'm on page 100. So far a lot has happened. Much better start than the first book!

Couple things...

I have no idea where this book (and all the relationships) are headed. I'm happy that it isn't predictable but I really have no idea, and it's making me a little nervous.

We've been introduced to Max, Maryse, and Maia. (All M's, wow!) And you know what? I feel like I know Maia better than I know almost all of the other characters (including those from the last book). This is kind of frustrating. Hopefully we get to know the all the characters better or else I'm going to have the same complaint I did when I read the first book in this series!

47034 Do I have to answer honestly? Ugh. Love.

Twilight is a very guilty pleasure of mine.

I'd like to be able to say I hate the books and the movies even more. But the honest truth is that I love the movies (even though I will be the first to admit they aren't very good) and I LOVE the books even more.

I really do think the books are good. There are some really beautifully done scenes in the books, like when Edward and Bella are at the restaurant discussing what he is. This was also one of the worst scenes in the movies.

47034 I'll start us off with a bang, because I'm sure most of you have an opinion about this! :)

Question #1: Do you love or hate (or love to hate) Twilight?
Aug 13, 2012 05:03PM

47034 It's simple really. Each week I'm going to ask a question. All you have to do is answer!!

Guidelines:
1) There is no wrong answer, so speak your mind!
2) Feel free to answer questions from previous weeks if you missed them!
3) Have fun!

47034 I miss Borders too! They always had such a better romance selection than all the other bookstores.

47034 Oh shucks Sylvie! I thought i had responded to this, I think I typed a comment but never hit post.

This is not helpful at all since its already posted, but my only comment was going to be for #9 we could make it more about women by having "or read a book with a female main character" or something like that.

But I don't think it's needed and since it's already posted I vote leave it as is. Sorry for not posting this sooner (I really thought I had).

Thanks for getting this together! I like #4 too!!!
