I will agree that vegetarian vampires are just stupid. I mean, really, what's the point?
Just curious, how do you feel about vamps that have to feed from one another to survive (instead of humans)? It doesn't bother me as much as vegetarian vampires, but it still doesn't feel...right. I like when vamps are forced to make that connection with the human world. But that's just my opinion.

And Amanda...I am so jealous that is one of the classes you get to take!!

All you have to do is post to this thread a book you'd like to nominate. I'll add it to the list and then we'll start voting on nominated books on November 10. (See schedule below)
You can nominate two types of books:
- First in series or stand-alone that we haven't previously read as a group
- Continued Read (i.e. #2 in series if we've read #1 as a group read previously) See our previously read books at Group Reads To-Date
The top two winners from each group (after votes) will be our 4 group reads.
It doesn't matter what type of book it is (UF, PN, YA), as long as there are vampires in it!
DECEMBER GROUP READS SCHEDULE
November 2 - 10 ~ Nominate books (as many as you want)
November 11 - 20 ~ Poll to vote for our group reads (from nominated books)
November 21 - 30 ~ Get ahold of books
December 1 - 31 ~ Read and discuss!
I'll update the list of nominated books here. And yes, you can nominate books that were nominated before but didn't win in the poll!
First in series or stand-alone nominations
The Vampire Voss by Colleen Gleason (Regency Draculia #1)
Continued Read Nominations
Rajmund by D.B. Reynolds (Vampires in America #3)

That's awesome Taryn!! I'm so happy for you and your family! Tell your hubby congrats and good luck!!!

As I understood it, there is a short story before this one, but this is the first book in the series. Since we're not reading short stories as a group, I put it as a first in series (figuring if you wanted to read the short story you could). And I've been told, that reading the short story first is unnecessary (but I haven't read it so I could have been told wrong).
I'm sorry if this caused any confusion!!

Kelley- I have a Q&A thread set up for questions for the author. So if you have any, be sure to add them there!

Here! You can start posting your questions now or as you get to them. And then K.C. will answer them all at once!
