The violent "purge" after the two hospitals merged was one of the most shocking episodes. I don't think I will ever forget that. I felt the worst for Bailey with the guy at the elevator.
The bus accident (007) and the plane situation (everybody dies) annoyed me greatly. I was like, why?
Thanks. Re: Accountability -LOLYes, dropping unfulfilling reads does take a weight off of the shoulders!

I love setting up the following year's posts. :D I was actually going to do it last weekend, but I ran out of time.
It's funny; I had been thinking of rewatching Grey's Anatomy ((view spoiler)) as well. It seems to have gotten good again.
However, I am rewatching a British police drama called Silent Witness. I originally got to season 8 or 9 out of 25. I'm now starting season 4 out of 27.
Setting up 2025 has me reflecting on 2024. I'm not surprised I didn't hit most Popsugar categories. For one, I don't read with specific categories in mind. If I happen to hit one, great; if not - oh, well. Secondly, while I'm not shy about my age, I try to be careful with my personal information. Why do you need to know what was written 24 years before I was born, or what was published on my 24th birthday, or whatever? I'm just not going to answer that.
My biggest disappointment this year was not getting to the Stephen King novels. That was the mood-reading side of me. It never felt like the right time. I'm going to try again next year, but without "writing it down" as such—maybe that will ease some of the pressure to do it. We'll see.
I also wish I could have kept up with the buddy reads, but I knew that was a stretch. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach when it comes to reading.
I am most proud of allowing myself to pause or abandon a series I just wasn't feeling, regardless of how far I got into it. I think I was maybe two books away from completing The Iron Druid Chronicles, but I learned that I would hate the ending, so I opted not to continue. And while I really enjoyed The Housemaid, I did not feel the second one and put it down. Maybe I'll try again. Maybe not. I haven't decided as yet.
Then, there was the Stephanie Plum series. I so wanted to enjoy that. But I can't stand characters who are TSTL, and seven books in, she just wasn't getting any better. It was like she wasn't learning from any of her experiences at all and kept doing the same dumb ass stuff. No, thank you!
I enjoyed reading the Alex Verus and am happy I could complete the series.
I'm looking forward to continuing InCryptid, In Death, Mistborn (I hope - the next release has not yet been determined), and The Vorkosigan Saga next year.
