42178 If you join the group you can! Hint hint hint. ;)

Participation is optional. The only concern are random requests from other members to please vote on their polls ( but they don’t hunt you down if you choose not to).

Nope. They created a 4-way tie instead. LOL

There is now a three-way tie! O.o

42178 I forget books all the time too!

I was looking at some of my early reviews, and since I go out of my way not to add spoilers, I couldn’t remember what the heck I was talking about. LOL!

42178 LOL!

I loved Clean Sweep! Not sure why I haven’t gotten around to the other two books as yet.

If Innkeeper wins, I’ll have to find a second short series for when I’m done.

Codex Alera only has 6 books, but they’re 700 pages each, so I’d need the whole year to complete them on time.

42178 :)

I realized this morning, that I had forgotten to add two other “started but not finished” series to the list.

I was tempted to edit the poll, but didn’t want to mess it up.

42178 Thank you! :D

42178 I forgot to add a "personal checkbox" so that I could watch the poll results without influence, so I thought no one was answering it. lol

42178 Because I can never leave well enough alone. Please help me pick a focus for 2019:

It's much more difficult than I would have imagined!

I swear, if I knew then what I know now, I would have gotten my shit together the first time I went to college, instead of being an indecisive twit! Granted, I was working full-time then too.

I feel like I've lived my life "bass-ackwards"!

42178 2019 - Just Read Dammit!

I have no real goals or expectations for leisure reading this year. My focus will be on completing my Bachelors of Middle-Grade Mathematics Education.
So, reading 12 non-school or work-related stories will be a bonus.

**********The (I Didn't See This Coming) RESULTS**********

Nyssa marries Lois Lane!

Nyssa and her wife Lois Lane, along with their Five Children and pet Tiger are moving to Louisiana!
Being a Wedding Planner to the rich and famous just wasn't fun anymore, so Nyssa has moved her family into the boonies and is now planning weddings for the Swamp people. Good thing she invested in that flying coffin, its a bit hard to get into that rural swampland. Thanks to Lois's reporting skills Nyssa is sure to be the Redneck Wedding planner of the year!

That's a good point. Plus, I do want to make a point of interacting more even when I'm not reading. I miss you guys when I'm "gone."

I hope your reading gets better <3
Not feeling like reading or too much other stuff to do?"

Thanks,

It's a bit of column A and a bit of column B.

The slump started because of having way too much to do (which will be the case for the next year and a half) but continued because I began to binge-watch tv shows when I had time, instead of reading.

42178 My reading has been so subpar over the last two years, that I don't even know if I should start a thread for 2019.

It's depressing.

42178 The new one (it doesn’t have a model name, it’s just 10th gen). I like the size of it.

It’s $129.99 (or $26 a month for 5 months with their payment plan option).

I love my current Paperwhite but it started showing signs of age a few months ago.

I can’t remember if it’s 5th or 6th gen.

42178 Amazon has a new Kindle coming out that is water resistant, and s Audible compliant. So you can switch between reading and listening as needed. It also has a higher capacity, and free cellular connectivity. I told my kids that that’s what I want for Christmas this year, with the blue case! 😊
