It can be a daunting task. I might do it one day too, but probably not any time soon.

42178 Yeah, stress kills motivation. Maybe read something light and fun/funny... an old favorite ... a comic book or graphic novel. Something to get the reading mojo flowing again.

I hope you find your spark. (((Hugs)))

That was me pretty much all of last year. I fell into the "tv zone" and didn't get out of it until December.

Sleep ending up winning last night, so I neither finished my project nor read. Thankfully, I have an idea of what I want to do for the final section, so I should be able to complete it tonight after work.

Thank you! I'm working on "allowing" myself reading time before I go to bed, even if that means putting homework aside until the next day (unless it's due that night of course). So, for instance, I've been working on a project all day today since my sub job was canceled. I really wanted to get it finished so that I could move on to other coursework, but I still have one section to go. I'm debating with myself about whether or not to spend the next two hours working the project or taking a break for the night and reading. It's not due until the end of the week, but 1) I am working every day for the rest of the week, and 2) I have work for my other classes to do as well.

I expected it to be weird and funny, and its just... superweird and confusing and i feel like i wasted time reading it. At least i didnt pay anything for it! ."

I kept seeing the title, and after reading another friend's review I was just like "Naw ..,. That's all right ... I'll pass"

It sounds disturbing (but is apparently hilarious).

Excellent!

If I use The Golem and the Jinni I would have the same, but I am liking the idea of completing the game exclusively using The Sookie Stackhouse series. :D

If I leave it to chance, I'll probably end up all over the place, or nowhere at all. Then I'd feel like I have to play catch-up. So having a plan/goal helps.

42178 I started the year off pretty well, reading-wise. January has often been a good month for me when I'm motivated. The trick will be keeping it up for the rest of the year.

I'm experimenting with making one post at the end of the month versus updating after every book. I think this might be easier when reading a series back to back but might take longer with nonrelated reads.

42178 I like Midsomer Murders. I think I’ve seen all but the last season.
Jan 27, 2019 01:15PM

42178 We seem to be interested in the same type of shows! :)

Grimm was a lot of fun - ridiculous at times, but fun.

I'm not sure how far I got into Black List. I want to say somewhere in season 3. I took a break, and just never returned to it, but I'm not sure why especially since I watched the first season twice.

I liked the first three seasons of Blind Spot but chose not to watch the 4th season because I didn't like how the 3rd season ended.

I think I watched 2 of the three seasons of The Fall. I'm not sure.

As you can see, I tend to drift away from shows after a while, even when I like them. Although, I did watch Grimm all the way through.

Oh! I thought the series name had to have a number in the title as well.

Cool! Then yes she will. :D

Oh, wait! The series is considered to be a Romance as well.

Wow ... Sookie for the win!!!

42178 Daughter and I are going to finish up the newest season of Dr. Who. Other than that, what free time I have goes to reading.

I have to be in the mood to delve back into listening to music, and I haven't really been into movies much, except for the occasional Marvel relaease. Even that have lost their luster of late, though.

42178 What's a hobby!?!

In all seriousness though - I don't really have any beyond, reading, listening to music, and tv. If I were a talented lass (and my folks did end my lessons after two years), I would play the heck out of piano and drums.
