4170 I thought it was a fantastic episode. I didn't watch it until last night because I was waiting to watch both episodes 9 and 10 together. Only I started way too late on Sunday to do that, so I just watched 9 on Sunday.

The imdb rating for the episode is pretty low. I'd be curious to know if that's because Doctor Who fans are upset at what happens, or just more haters of the female doctor or because of (view spoiler)

I'm really excited for the next season now.

4170 For my own personal challenges, I'm finished with:

Personal: 15/50 (32% complete)
Sword: 3/15 (20% complete, 4% ahead of schedule)
Laser: 6/10 (60% complete, 44% ahead of schedule)
Comics: 4/5 (80% complete, 64% ahead of schedule)

This month I've added 2 Sword, 3 Laser, 2 Graphic novels.

I finished up the Expanse novellas in February and padded out my Sci-Fi stats a bit as a result. I will probably finish my Laser and Comics challenge pretty early, but I'm not going to increase my goals. I'll help compensate for the overambitious participants instead.

I just picked up a bunch of non-genre stuff (and a bunch of genre stuff) that I plan to read later this month so that will probably slow my momentum a bit.

I'll likely add 1-2 sword and 1 laser in March.

Good luck!
4170 A few of these were no-brainers. The others I had to look up. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for to win it all this year.

As someone who was pushing for the Theft of Swords for several years to finally see it win last year, I feel comradary with Anne's crusade to get us to read The Neverending Story.

On the other hand the Sci-fi bracket is looking pretty strong.

4170 I did a few Rebels comics. In particular the 2 Kanan backstory ones.

They were OK.

What I really want is a post-rebels: (view spoiler)

4170 I know this is a book club, but I don't really want to have to read Star Wars books for the answers. There are just too many Star Wars books to keep up/read them all.

I have liked some of Christie Golden's wow books, so maybe I'll consider that book.

And I did read/like Ahsoka, mostly because the voice actress doubled as the audio book narrator.

4170 Thanks Mark. I saw that article in my feed yesterday, but skipped it. The title didn't make it apparent it was an interview. I just thought it was an opinion piece.

Kind of disappointed no closure for Ventress, but not surprised given he only got 12 episodes.
