I read one book from your shelves and tried to link the others to it in some way:



Death of a Dead Man this was a positive surprise; I've read books from the Anna Denning series and that was quite a stretch for me though good enough I'm half way through that series as well
Theology of Horror: The Hidden Depths of Popular Films because the author likes to play with genres and content I'm not fond of but in a way I can deal with, plus most of her books deal with religion in some kind and it was the highest rated on your TBR (the previous was my highest rated *grins*)
Pizza, Pugs and Murder another cozy mystery, and you're far enough along I assume you enjoy it
Circe the highest rated book on your shelf by an author whose first and last name start with the same letter :-D

Usually I'd agree whole-heartedly though I had to read at least 10 U-books in the last six or so months and lined up a good bunch of those (didn't enjoy a lot of them very much, and am plowing through another four or five right now) so I'm tired of this letter - luckily I'm mostly done with it - and I hope the remaining two words won't have any Us but I'm pacing myself with the current reads in case I'll need those Us *sigh*

R6 Agent out of Time by Guy S. Stanton III - loved 1st in series, hated the 2nd, this one will help with the decision if I'll continue or cut my loses and delete the series for good
R3 The Retirement Quilt by Ronald Lee Gaudreau - bonus to help me start actually reading it :-D

I haven't made it that far in this series - only as far as I needed to reach the development of the cross-over book with the Country Cottage Mysteries series #21.5/#6, which was about 15-18 books more than I enjoyed but explained the reversal of the main relationship development and the addition of a couple of characters in Lottie's live. I enjoyed the first six Country Cottage Mysteries, hated An Awful Cat-titude and plan to give 3:AM Kisses a chance when it will fit at least five challenges at one time (with at least two more difficult to fill tasks among them) though my expectations for this author nose-dived after struggling through the Murder in the Mix Series (which I'm done with for good) - so nothing really lost for you from my point of view :-D

Usually I don't post my BL books but I realised that thanks to this challenge (and Dare to DNF) I'm down to 16 books added before midnight (out of around 150 :-D) and wanted to say thank you for all this great help.
And I didn't have to go far, mine is only #22

Week 18 - March 1 Row 2 Column 6 The Other You by Marion Ueckermann O-title & U-author is always great, especially if it's short-ish (between 150 and 250 pages) and this 2nd in series should help me to make up my mind how much I want to read her books; the first was ok but nothing more

I was supposed to come today to pick up my nephew from school, though yesterday I learned today's a city-wide public transportation strike, so I came a day earlier. Since My mind somehow memorized I'm going (overnight) to my sister's on Friday I started checking the yearly challenges thread as soon as I arrived and was thinking Jennifer is late for a change (especially annoying as I have WiFi-connection) only to realize late last night it's actually still Thursday *sigh*
Which on top of yesterday's day was completely unnecessary (view spoiler)[couldn't wake up, even several hours after I was up; left my water bottler at my appointment in the city; forgot to scan my bonus card - and for a change I bought all the stuff I left out the last couple of months *grrrrr*; left my debit card in the machine and run away - the only good thing the employee noticed it before I was finished with packing up all my stuff - missed my first tram/trolley and thought I use this time and go to the backer - of course the line was so long I missed the next one too, so I decided to walk to the other shop - despite really bad pain yesterday - and they didn't have most of the stuff I wanted to buy; waited on the next tram pretty long - somewhere along the way a car stopped working and most of the following were delayed - the only good thing about it - a homeless man I became friends with, ok more with his dog, but she's so cute and great and following perfectly, despite her fair of moving vehicles, so I was able to cuddle her until some people wanted out; run home, packed my bag, had enough time to get the bus - walking distance only five minutes instead of the 15 for the tram - only the bus came two or three minutes early, never happened before, so I had to wait half an hour for the next one as I was in too much pain to walk to the tram; bus was late and I had to wait almost an hour for the next train to my sister's village; when I finally got into the train I had to deal with nasty looks from a young lady because I was so brazen to take the 'good' sits for the walking impaired and so she had to take the uncomfortable folding sits (hide spoiler)] Anyway all this to say thank you for your great work Jennifer!
