Finding Joy by Rebekah A. Morris

"4.5 stars.
This is a hard book to review. But not because it wasn’t good. Because it was very good. It was both delightful and rather heart-wrenching. So much beauty, and yet, there was also pain. That’s how life is, isn’t it?

“But if a man truly loved you, he would see the beauty that lies much deeper than those scars.”
Sarah Holman, Waltz into the Waves: A Cinderella Story

“Do you think bravery means to be without fear? You are greatly mistaken. You are brave not because of your lack of fear, but because you did not let that fear stop you. That is what true bravery is.”
Sarah Holman, Adventures and Adversities

“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”
C.S. Lewis

“Great characters tell their own stories. The author just writes it down for them.”
Molly Evangeline

C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

“I was the lion who forced you to join with Aravis. I was the cat who comforted you among the houses of the dead. I was the lion who drove the jackals from you while you slept. I was the lion who gave the horses the new strength of fear for the last mill so that you should reach King Lune in time. Jane Sarah,

Thanks for the friend request. How exciting that God has given you the creativity to write books! I'll have to check some of them out --- although I'm more a regency/historical romance kind of girl and not so much sci-fi/fantasy. Nevertheless, I'm glad to be friends and look forward to sharing talk of books and life.

Jane

p.s. -- One of my brother's has six kids and number seven on the way. My sister-in-law (with an amazing amount of energy!) homeschools all of them. Their oldest is graduating and going away to college and sort of sad since he won't really get to know the new sibling who is yet to be born.

p.p.s. -- I very very briefly checked out your blog. Nice.
