Hi Jayme: Liz is right. This book doesn't fit the task requirements. "Monster" isn't an adjective, and it's not one of the approved words for Part B.

This is not Richard Castle's only published work. "Naked Heat" was published in September, 2010. So this doesn't fit for this task. The only way "Heat Wave" would qualify is if you read it in early September before the 2nd book in the series was published.

I'm going to disallow the points claimed for this book. If you did read it before the 2nd book was published, post it again in a new message with a note to that affect so I am sure to see it when I tally the scores next.

Welcome to the RwS Challenge!

Liz is correct. For the RtT books posted in message #545, I'll need to know the order that you read the books in to be able to score them correctly. Were you a Constant Traveller, or a Time Leaper?

In addition to the bonus that you get for completing all 10 time periods, you get individaul points for each book read in the series, and those points vary based on whether you read the books in chronological order (newest to oldest, or oldest to newest) or read them in random order.

Chronological Order = Constant Traveller
Random Order = Time Leaper

I'll hold off scoring the books from message #545 until you provide the order the books were read in.

The authors for this task can't be from Spain. They need to be from, Mexico, Central America, South America, or one of the Spanish-speaking countries in the Caribbean.

I'll let Sam have the final say, but I don't think the book has to be from any specific series by a given authro. The author has to be from one of the approved countries, and the book needs to fall in the "Noir" genre.

I hadn't really thought of that angle. Yes, unless there are strong objections then I'll allow an author on your Literature Map to be used once for the Task 10.2, and once as a Combo point task. (Similar the rules for Task 20.7)
