YAAAAAAY!

I have three short ones that will work for the "elves, reindeer, or sleigh" goal, the "christmas in really warm weather" goal, and the "presents" goal. So I'll listen to those (all only three hrs each) before My Sister's Keeper.
Erin is currently reading A Christmas Carol which will work for the song title goal.
We need someone to tackle the hot chocolate goal and the ruin/save christmas goal.

I only have a couple hrs left of Screwtape Letters to fulfill the religious holiday goal. I was gonna try to get in a couple more short ones but I need to start My Sister's Keeper sooner rather than later...
How are we doing with the other holiday goals? Is anyone working on any of the open ones?

Yes, a group goal (and a holiday goal) can only be met once. But I encourage you to not ONLY read books that will work for goals. Every book can be used towards a goal at some point. Who would have thought that some of Valentin's books in Romanian would work for goals about characters, but they did! So read what you WANT to read, and somehow it all ends up working out :)

First, YES The Kitchen God's Wife would work!!! Karen is also working on a "K" book, but as with all our goals, whoever finishes first is used for the goal.
When a goal is one that requires a "top shelf" labeled as something (for example children), that means that you go to your book's MAIN PAGE.
Once you are there, scroll down until you see a section on the righthand side of the page that says GENRES.
Click on the link below it that says "SEE TOP SHELVES."
On that FIRST PAGE, you must find a shelf that is labeled "children" or includes the world "children," "child," or some other form of the word children. But it MUST BE ON THAT FIRST PAGE.
For example, go to the page for Coraline. If you click on the link for "See Top Shelves," you will discover a shelf labeled "children" in the first column.
