Otis Spofford"
That book is allowed, Erin :) I checked with the Mods mainly because of word count and this book just scraped in! The green cover is pretty obvious so yes it would work.

I mean...yaaa hahaha There may not be a technical rule but that's pretty much cheating...If you feel like a book belongs on that list though feel free to add it after we complete the goal!

***Because we boon-ed the goal "Read a book that starts with the letter Z" we were assigned the goals as follows:
1. Read a book where the edition you are reading was published on the 10th of a month -- Winter (Karen)
2. Read a book with snow on the cover -- Six of Crows (Natalie)
3. Read a book where a character wears goggles, glasses, or a monocle eyeglass -- American Rust (Karen)
4. Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as all - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable -- Flowers for Algernon (Natalie)
NEW GOAL
Read a book that is in the "Best Unappreciated Books" Listopia List (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/4...)
***This new goal is a little tough...I am actually currently reading a book that is on that list (A Constellation of Vital Phenomena) but I don't know when I will actually finish it. I'll get to reading!

Otis Spofford"
I asked the Mods!

Author: Jeaniene Frost
Pages: 342
Date Finished: December 17, 2015
Goal: None"
I'm counting this for the snow holiday goal :)

DECEMBER 18
Read a book where the title has a Song Title from one
of the lists below for 10 points!
Wikipedia's List Of Christmas Carols
The Top 20 Christmas Songs You Never Get Sick Of
The 50 Best Christmas songs: Bells continue to ring for the Pogues' 'Fairytale of New York'
***They posted early today!!!

DECEMBER 17
Read a book where Christmas is spent on the beach or under real warm weather (10 pts)

The most people that have shelved it under "priority" is like 25 people, making it hard for a bo..."
HAHAHA!!! I've had Infinite Jest sitting directly in front of my bed on the center shelf of my bookcase because I tell myself if it's in my eyeline I'll read it...hasn't happened yet.
A Little Life
The Chris Farley Show: A Biography in Three Acts
The Psychopath Whisperer: The Science of Those Without Conscience
All these have some form of a "priority" shelf. But I've started Wildflower and it's only a 7 hr audiobook so I'll have it finished in a couple days.

I vote we boon either the K title goal or the Z title goal.

***Because Corey finished his goal book first, I used his towards the swimming goal and my completion towards the tarot goal. Tima, I am SURE we will be able to use yours toward a future goal :)
1. Read a book where the cover shows someone swimming -- Everything I Never Told You (Corey)
2. Read a book where tarot cards are used -- Never Never: Part One (Brie)
3. Read a book first published in June -- Forging the Future (Megan)
4. Read a book which features a snake on the cover or in the story -- Trail of Broken Wings (Brie)
5. Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as need - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable -- A Girl Is a Half-formed Thing (Philippa)
6. Read a book where the author's first name is one of the top 100 female names in Germany according to nameberry (http://nameberry.com/popular_names/Ge...) -- The Girl On the Train (Farhad)
7. Read a book written from more than one character's point of view -- Everything I Never Told You (Brie)
8. Read a book where the edition you are reading was published on the 2nd of a month -- Snow Crash (Farhad)
9. Read a book from your TBR that one of your teammates has already read -- Go Set a Watchman (Farhad)
10. Read a book where a character's first name starts with the letter R -- Angelfall (Karen)
11. Read a book where the first word of the title is A -- A Room of One's Own (Brie)
12. Read a book that has the birthstone Ruby in the text or title -- The Double Bind (Karen)
NEW GOALS
1. Read a book where the title starts with the letter K
2. Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as priority - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable
***Now we have QUITE a few boon-able goals to choose from. I am going to take a look at my Audible library and see if there is anything I have that can work for any of our open goals. Then, I will cast my vote.

Karen, where are you with the swimming book?
Fatima, where are you with the tarot book?
I'm just trying to decide which goal to put it towards depending on who is furthest away from finishing.
