THIS IS AN AMAZING BOOK AND I SUGGEST IT TO EVERY ONE OF YOU! TRULY BEAUTIFUL STORY!

I feel like I sense a future challenge on our hands. Our own little private King-A-Thon, perhaps???

Hmmm I am way more into delightfully creepy...I might have to go to the bookstore after work tomorrow and investigate this further!!!

No! Have you? I'm super intrigued now...
STATUS UPDATEOk guys, so I have been tinkering around on the spreadsheet that the mods want us to fill out for the challenge, and so far we have
90 POINTS!!! This is so great!!!
As far as our Spell-It-Out is concerned, we still need:
O-N-I-I-RNone of the completed books, thus far, have given any of those letters as options, so really keep an eye out as you read for characters that may complete those letters!!!
I am so impressed and excited with our teams progress! I love our communication and I love the fact that we are all reading books from different genres, yet still finding time to bond over favorite authors, series etc.
Let's keep up the great work friends!!!

I mean, also take into account everything he has been through in his PERSONAL life - between battling alcoholism and a life threatening car crash...yet his writing style remains so classic and unique to him.

This is so great! I'm a MASSIVE King fan. I grew up reading his books (such a morbid child I was hahaha) and have been wanting to tackle Mr Mercedes for some time now.

THIS IS ALL SO AWESOME!!! BERIT AND PRINCESS, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEEEST!

I am perfectly ok with that Berit. The most important thing is that all completed book information is on THIS THREAD so that Savannah and I have all the information we need to add up points and submit them to our mods every Saturday.

I LOOOVE the spreadsheet Kimberly thank you so much for making that for us. Let's also still post on this thread though for the sake of me and Savannah.

FANTASTIC!!!! So we have two books done so far!!!
Just a reminder everyone: When you complete a book, PLEASE post on this thread a "Book Complete," including all of it's details (title, author, page count) and what letters it fulfills/reason why.
Kimberly, did I see on your spreadsheet that you completed a book?
COMPLETED READMiss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar ChildrenR: Ransom Riggs (author)
E: Emma (character)
C: Claire (character)
Finished it around 1 am. HUZZAH!
352 pages
Current Total: 684,337

Love this Berit!!!!!! GO TEAM!!!
Ps totally unrelated but if any of you are Disney princess fans (I am convinced I'm Belle), GO SEE CINDERELLA! My best friend and I definitely just left the theatre sobbing because it was so magical.

So the rule is that we HAVE to spell the first round out BEFORE we can start counting any letters for the SECOND round. However, no points are ever LOST if we fail to complete a word. So say we finish the first round but only fulfill 5 letters of the second round. Those 5 letters will still count.

It was DEFINITELY not what I expected, but I grew to like it! Although...it HAS taken me like a year to get around to finishing it hahaha I thought it would be perfect to finish for this challenge as I only have 80 pages left.

There will be more that I can read (obviously) but I don't have them accessible at the moment to check out what letters they'll work for.

Y'all can do both (be specific as well as give lots of options). Savannah can do her specific spreadsheet and I can do the juggling. Teamwork! We all have our strengths :) what is most important is that we all have fun with this! As long as each one of us is adamant about marking our completed read books, we'll be fine. Make it work!

Right now we only need an "N" to complete our First Round based on that breakdown Sav just posted.

Sydney, Australia has officially been added to my world clock! Ok...I guess I have to go, like, work now and like...help people. Blergh.
