Yes Natalie, but that "month" you have is the month they are being read in by the entire NBRC group. Starting in December we have 3 new Books of the Month.

Unfortunately, just because the Six of Crows DQs weren't started until today, doesn't mean you get until December 22 to finish them and get the participation points. What some people do (I did this for Pretty Girls) is read the book ahead of time, take notes on the sections that are being discussed each day, and when the time comes, participate in the discussion.

STATUS UPDATE

Happy Sunday friends!!!!!! We have successfully gotten through Week 2 of Tower Teams IV, and we have more than DOUBLED our points in a week!!!! That is some POWER READING guys :D

A few things I'd like to point out:

1. Since it is Sunday, and the start of week 3, I have updated my "STATUS UPDATE" post on Page 1. Look there, and you will be able to see all of our totals up to this point, including our place in the games!

2. Today, we have started a NEW BOM Six of Crows! Karen is the only member participating as of now, so if you would like to join in please let me know! All of the information for all three BOMs is on Page 1.

3. We are nearing the end of November...I know. Time is flying. This means that in order to receive those extra BOM points, ALL BOM BOOKS MUST BE FINISHED BY MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30. If a BOM book is finished after the 30, it will still count for PAGE POINTS, but you will NOT be able to receive points for PARTICIPATION.

4. Please remember to declare ALL COMPLETED READS on the BOOKS READ THREAD! A link for this thread is on Page 1. We have all been really great about this, so I'm mainly saying this for reiterations sake. Also be sure that you mark books as "Read" on your Tower Teams shelf after you have completed them. Shelves are updated to the spreadsheet automatically, so if a book is on your shelf that is not supposed to be, it messes up our scoring.

5. Please remember to check in with the group (or just message me if you want) at least ONCE A WEEK. I know we are all busy with uni and work (ugh my personal hell) and families and life in general, but I need a quick little "Hey! I'm still around! Reading is cool!" at least once a week :)

Finally, YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!!!!!! I hope you are enjoying this challenge as much as I am :D It has been such a pleasure being your captain and I'm super happy that we can officially say that EACH MEMBER IN OUR TEAM HAS COMPLETED A BOOK!!! Not all teams can say that ;) You all rock my world and I hope you continue to have an amazing weekend!!!
