Hi Tina, Sure, want to try June 14th for All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater

Exams are almost over! You got it. Early Congr..."

Thanks Laura! I can't wait until they're done.

You're welcome to join in Erin

@Mod - Could we please have an Informal read for All the Crooked Saints for the 14th of June?
35559 I hope everyone is okay with informal

(Team Tonks)
35559 I’ve read chapters one and two.

So far I’m okay with it.
The chapter with Cassandra I found to be good for a Y.A. Novel. She seems just like a normal teenager but with an extra ability.

Athena and Hermes - I’m not too sure how I feel. I feel like Athena isn’t Athena entirely. As she’s one of my favourite goddesses (I named my rabbit after her), I’m probably going to judge how she is, more harshly than others. They are Gods. They’ve been alive for so long, I don’t think they’d speak as they do.
I found Demeter’s portrayal interesting - where she is and her character, and especially how they found her.

I'm good with finishing the spells before doing classes.

Yup. We won't count them until you put a date read there.

That's fine about DQ. I'm not that great at asking thought-provoking questions but I want to improve so I'm trying to participate in B.O.M. when I can.

Here's something from the Captain's group:
◈ Q: What does it mean "Participating in a BOM" ? Answering a set or comment? Or do we need to answer all days to get the 20 points? Or is a 20 points per set of questions?
A:Provided you add to the discussion at some stage through the book. It doesn't need to be answering a set of questions if that doesn't appeal to you. You may just pop over and give some thoughts at different stages. It is just one set of points per book. However you do need to interact with others in the BOM thread for it to be considered “participation”.

I hope that helps, Brooklyn!

35559 I see both your points.

Sophie - It's probably why I react so negatively mentally and physically anything Umbridge related

35559 I still can't stand Umbridge to this day. I just can't. I don't think I've ever hated someone in a book as much as I hate her. Her and Voldy, I don't know which one I hate more...

That's fine Zee! Read as little or as much as you can around your busy life! Let us know how you're going at least once a week and if there's anything we can do to help you manage book reading and real life.

35559 **BOOK OF THE MONTH (JUNE)**
Halli, Brooklyn and Eunice - I've added our interest for June's B.O.M. to the planning spreadsheet. Feel free to add to that tab when you've started/finished/written or answered DQ.
As of now, for Becky on the Offbeat there are 3 people who've expressed interest in it and 2 (I think) who've raised their hand to write DQ. We get 40 points if we write DQ. I think if one of you volunteered to write DQ, the other could help with the questions.

Eunice - Thanks for the back up! :D

**BUDDY READS**
Eunice - I've added the Kate Daniels series to the B.R. tab. You can update as you go.

Teri - I've added Ink and Bone (I might join in), Red Rising, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norelle and The Way of Kings to the B.R. tab.

So, B.O.M. and B.R. tabs are now updated up to here on our planning spreadsheet. Halli and I will add them to our official one once you've read the book and participated.

**SPELLS**
If you see that your book has been moved from where it was, it was Halli or me (most likely me). We're trying to fill out the Unforgivable curses in the official spreadsheet so our spells add up normally. We're nearly done with Avada Kedavra and Imperius. So yay! We still have A, A, A, K, U and I to finish. Then work on Cruciatus.

I'm thinking we should finish the Unforgivable Curses and the Obscure Spells before we start on Classes.

NOTE
When adding your books, please add it to the "add your book here" tab. We'd prefer all books read to go there so we don't have to constantly look in the other tabs and compare them all. It's also a good reference tab for when we're arranging the books into Spells/Classes.

Thanks guys! You're all doing great!

It's quite long, so take your time.
35559 I can't wait. I've been wanting to read this for a while.

(Team Tonks)
35559 Ohhhh I had no idea it worked like that. I assumed that you paid a fee and got to download and read as many books as you want.

I'm glad you cleared that up Erin!

Woo! My exams end on June 5th so I can do anytime after then.
Would June 15 be okay for an informal buddy read?

I can do either:
June 14,
June 21,
June 28
Or anytime in July.
What would suit you, Laura?

For informal read?
