You all were so great - thank you! The coordination was fantastic, and I think (which is a rare thing) that every single person contributed a bunch, was responsible, didn't need reminding, and stuck it through for the entire challenge. But what I loved the most was the positive attitudes! I felt really lucky to have Lisa and Shannon who know so much about spreadsheets to co-captain. And my "ray of sunshine" co-captain Nanci - always so willing to bounce ideas off of. I've seen you on other teams during various challenges and always wished you were on mine - so glad you were on this one!
This next two months I'm doing a one book a week challenge (one of the Game Night ones - the Game of Life - Space version) - with a group of people I met on one of my first tower teams. This game really does build lasting friendships! And I tell myself I'll get to play with you all again because - if I don't I'd be too sad!
Great idea to list favorite challenge books! I'll add mine in the next post.
Ok - I have everything updated and moved to the official spreadsheet. If anyone finishes another book, just be sure it's done before the countdown:https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown...
And note it on the planning sheet.
I don't know for sure how it will end up, but boy the sheer number of books read this past week is stunning. And even more stunning was the coordination fitting so many tasks.
Thanks so much everyone! What a fun ride this has been!
Nope - you did it with 3 hours to spare Jen - thanks! And Vi - wow so many pages in such a short time! That's incredible.
Apoorv - you had so many insights that helped out the team - thank you :)
And yes - if it works for luggage that is fantastic! Although I MAY end up moving things around. Thanks Shannon :)
Thanks Kirsten - I hope you enjoy the conference and your non-assigned reading!! And thanks Elinor! You are all so awesome. I look at the countdown and feel sad, although I could not keep up this reading pace for too long :)
Elinor and Jackie - for now, just note they work for both - I'll use where we get the most points. It's SO helpful those books work for both!

Here are our three Wheels. I'd guess we won't finish any of them, but if you have a book that fits in any - feel free to put it down for one of the tasks :)Read a book with at least four legs on cover
Read a book that features someone following a character
Read a book tagged Travel (at least 10 times)
Read a book with the word "luggage" or "baggage" in text
Read a book with a mirror on cover
Read a book with a snake on cover
Read a book with the letters ROOSTER in the title (all -- multiple O and R required!)
Read a book whose author initials (all) are in PETRIFIED
Read a book with a white cover
Read a book with the letters ICE in title (in any order)
Read a book with a large domesticated creature on cover (e.g. horse, cow, donkey)
Read a book with set of at least three repeated letters in the title (example: THI is repeated in the title THIs THIng of Darkness)
Oh and I'd be happy to help with the book you just finished too if you just want to put it in the Spreadsheet and can't stand looking at the screen :)
Thanks Kerri! I sure hope your head feels better. If you do finish your book tonight, I can for sure help you find a place for it.
