Sleep well! And thanks - I'll take a look at that! I swear the new page layout drives me crazy sometimes.
New Spin: Read a book you can connect to an elephant
Read a book you can connect to elves
Read a book you can connect to cats
Read a book you can connect to The Librarian (an orang-utan)
But - we really needed that "G" anyway - and can also use that book for blue if we end up needing to switch - so it's not a bad thing at all!
Janeylou wrote: "Sorry Suzanne ..i found lots of historical and historical fiction..but i really though MM Historical Romance would have counted"Maybe I'm missing it (or it changes at sometimes does). But I see "MM Romance" and "Historical" and "Romance" but not "MM Historical Romance". I agree - I think that would count too.
Hmm....@Janeylou and @Kirsten - so the Janeylou your historical romance book (although it definitely IS a historical romance) - needs to have that exact tag as a MPG ("Historical Romance"). So....I'm going to use it for the letter "G" in TT, and use Kirsten's contemporary Gideon for the 4th Sin.
@Kerri - there is a spot for your book on W44b. @Kirsten - I moved Gideon to cover the G (although if we get the two rolls in before you finish, who knows what we'll do with it :) )
Kerri - I was just looking -go ahead and put it in for Young adult - I'm going to move Kirsten's out of contemporary. Because then we can use that contemporary book (I think it's Gideon) for the G in our spellout.Hope that is ok Kirsten!
I'm kind of torn though because if we put it in for moist, so I may just switch that idea. But put it in for Young Adult for now :)
I'd say keep in in the letters - I'm not sure we'd get enough for another rainbow anyway :) It looks like a good book!
Sure thing! It's like we are having our own team reading marathon :)
Don't worry about the tower teams - I will work on moving books to rainbows as needed - so just keep on reading - record what letters will work for books and if they have a color cover. Plus no matter what, we get page points.
New Spin: SinsRead 4 books with one of the following MPGs. Each must have a different MPG.
Dystopia, Young Adult, Historical Romance, Guilty Pleasure, Dark Fantasy, Contemporary, Horror
Thanks Janeylou - I'll turn those in before bed - and will tell you all the new spin if everyone isn't asleep :)
New Wheel: Read 4 books related to Winter Seasonal Holidays.Pending: Author initials in ELEPHANT and Title starts with letter from CHELYS - Janine
Witch and Death/Reaper - Suzanne
MOIST in title - Kirsten
I hope everyone's weekend is going well! My grandkids think I'm a crazy reader since I listened to books in the car as I drove them to swimming (a place up in the mountains) and then read the whole time I watched them swim. I am indeed crazy I suppose :)
Thanks so much Amanda! I may move another set - I got one set moved over and now we only have: 9 Claimed unfinished books and 4 unclaimed. All but the last two words are completely finished. Pretty cool :)
Note: keep putting books into TT or Wheel and just make a note if it has a color cover (and let me know if you can't find a letter for it).
I'm going to go ahead and move 8 books out of the spell it out (can move them back if we need) and into a rainbow. I THINK the way we are reading, we'll be able to fill out the whole spell out. But if not, we will do the math and see where the most points are.
