Suzanne’s comments from the Nothing But Reading Challenges group.

We don't get an extra bonus, but we do get all possible team tower points (for finishing all the words). If we finish them all and still have time to read, we can juggle some into rainbows.

Cris, Janeylou claimed Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, but I think Diva Haunts the House would work for Hufflepuff since she clearly has the traits of dedication and hard work.

For The Original task it says a spinoff of a series by the same or different author, the continuation of a series by a different author, or a retelling. I don't see other guidelines. So anything following those guidelines should fit. I have one full The Original covered.

For this new task they want either a new series that's a spinoff from an existing one or like if an author dies and a new author continues the series. I'm uncertain if a series written by multiple authors would count?
I'll see if there's something in the Q&A.

I had 2 books I read and didn't quite finish today that I finished for this. We still need two more.

I have some short Nero Wolfe books I can read. I suspect I'll get both done tomorrow. So I'll plan on doing that. (They are on the spreadsheet.) If needed, I could do the same for some Agatha Christie books, but someone else may ideas for another fast pair.

Well I think I've officially shown I may be a TAD competitive - I needed to drop our dogs back home from camping so that we could go into Yellowstone tomorrow - I was going to do that in the morning but instead decided to do it tonight after the kids were in bed so I could get those wheel spins.

Although, I think after playing Quidditch in tower teams past, I already proved I was crazy :) Anyway, the two completed ones are checked in and hopefully we'll get new spins soon. And then we will get a third new spin fairly soon - Nanci I'm sure will be finished with her book tomorrow. But another captain will have to check that one in - I can't get back home til Thursday afternoon :)

I think all the tasks are covered and all but one is finished- and that one almost! so we should get 3 more tasks once one of the captains with computer access is on.

You ate the opposite of a complainer! I think more discussion would be fantastic and feel more like participation. And I'm also feeling bad because I'd love to discuss Fourth Wing more but have hardly been home!
