Nanci - thanks for the recommendation. I love elephants. My beloved Grandmother collected elephants, and she passed that love to me and even my children, who all get sentimental about elephants because of her.

Vanessa North.
I have 3 more direction books <200 pages in my tbr, so I'm up for getting another one."
That's awesome - the author name made me laugh.
And yes I think there are much worse prompts.

I think after we complete this second time roll, we can opt to re-roll if we get it again.

Started Above Suspicion. It's an espionage novel published in 1941. So interesting as it describes life just as WWII was starting."
Oh that does sound interesting! My parents were very young at that time, and I've always loved hearing what they said about those days.

Jackie, if you can do those two, lets go ahead and put them in for that Wheel. I just finished my book and will get it checked in and read a book that will finish off the square (starts with T and ends with S) Unless someone else already has one in progress.

Starts with T ends with E
Starts with N ends with E
Starts with T ends with S
Starts with T ends with A
Starts with T ends with D
I'm sure I could find others :)

An Evil Heart
Above Suspicion
** Starts with T and ends with #
***Starts with N and ends with #
We could probably choose either of those ** books first, then find the last (hardest since it has 2 requirements)

1. Starts with A and ends with * (letter that is easy to find as a starting letter for titles)
2. Starts with T and ends with # (letter that is easy to find as an ending letter for titles
3. Starts with * and ends with #
I hope that makes sense :)

Weekly Status Report
Summary: (As of July 9)
Great teamwork with Wheel, pages, and input. Thanks for all of your contributions. We are in 2nd place but are doing so well. I still think we can pull off a win, but even if not, I 100% feel like a winner.

16 July is the last day to answer questions

Mini-Challenges
Rainbow Towers: Keep marking any of your books that have colored covers. At the current rate we will have the TT spellouts done in early July, and this will be our only way besides Wheel to gain points. So that spreadsheet column noting colored cover (when applicable) is super important.
Wheel: Nice Teamwork! This is a fun mini - and certainly a challenge.
Page points: We are slightly behind on the 600+ category (I blame wheel) but things are looking good!

Thanks Janeylou! I'm so sorry about the confusion on this task! I think so far it is the least clear - at least to me. I'm not thinking too hard about Wake me Up - since it has Up in the title I think we can just go for it :)
Note: I woke up at 4 a.m. because I couldn't stop thinking about "up, down, under, in, left, right, etc." I finally just got up and started the day. Hope I get THROUGH it :)
Good thing is, I had time to do the update. So incoming:

I'll put that heron task in now (unless someone already has, which often happens).

Anyway, have a good night. I have a big thing to do in the morning, so will update about one (Mountain Standard Time) tomorrow.
