35559 Oh! I just noticed! caRRiE SOTO works for Rooster! I'm going to move one of those that were finished after July 10. And yes - let's watch for the pages from that other book - I'd guess they'll appear sometime soon :)

35559 It looks like publication date is July 28, so....even if we don't use it for this task, let's keep an eye open, and try to use it before the end of challenge for something soon as pages show up (if they won't put in pages from the facebook answer).

35559 If you want to ask in the captain's group and show the facebook link, it's possible one of the librarians can update Goodreads and we can use it. It's sure frustrating when stuff like that happens! SEEMS obvious that we should be able to use it, but I guess with as many as play this game...

On that note, for the newest wheel, team remember: Books with MPGs Childrens / Kids / Poetry / Play / Graphic Novel / Illustrated / Photography / Art (or which have "Illustrated" in the title or an "Illustrator" contributor in the metadata) must have at least 30,000 words (must be a verified count. sites that provide estimated word counts are not valid sources for verifying word count). ArBookFind is a great site to double check (there are also .co.uk and .com.au versions). If in doubt, ask your captain. A good rule of thumb is that if the audio is over 3 hours, the book will be long enough.

35559 I can read Three Bedrooms, One Corpse for Rooster if the original book won't work, but hopefully we can find verified pages somewhere :)

35559 I updated our books and we narrowed the lead quite a bit since last Sunday. Way to read everyone!

35559 Lisa, have you found a verified page count for Three Souls who Break? I didn't see it on audible, and I didn't see a page count on Amazon. Hopefully it has one somewhere so that we can use it.

35559 Lemon Cupcakes:
Read a book with a (cup)cake on the cover
Read a book with flour in the text
Read a book with eggs in the text
Read a book wtih lemon in the text

Note: I personally would be happy for THIS one to get repeated lots of times!

35559 Thanks for checking up on that Vi.

I submitted for a new spin for Ladder to the Sky. I'll have the heron book done this afternoon.

Janine, I assume you are still reading Black Dust? (If not, that's ok.)

35559 Nicely done you ladies on that wheel. I'll push that Moon book - I just wanted to finish Silver Chair first (just did).

Agreed! It never would have crossed my mind to use the same books

35559 Kirsten you are fine reading Thunder Moon, but if you have a quick book starting with Dance (or Dan) or ending with Thunder feel free to read that instead

35559 Lisa is correct that we can use the full titles. Apoorv I read it the same way, but someone asked the mods in the officer and they said that we could use as much as the full title and as few as 3 letters. Some used Carrie Soto is Back for all 4.

35559 The two I found for mirror on the cover:
The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side (Miss Marple, #9) by Agatha Christie and Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles, #3.5) by Marissa Meyer . (I THINK the first one is a mirror, but it's a broken one.)

I can look again too, but those are the only two I know of for now.
