Agreed! It never would have crossed my mind to use the same books

Kirsten you are fine reading Thunder Moon, but if you have a quick book starting with Dance (or Dan) or ending with Thunder feel free to read that instead

Lisa is correct that we can use the full titles. Apoorv I read it the same way, but someone asked the mods in the officer and they said that we could use as much as the full title and as few as 3 letters. Some used Carrie Soto is Back for all 4.

The two I found for mirror on the cover:
and . (I THINK the first one is a mirror, but it's a broken one.)

I can look again too, but those are the only two I know of for now.

Nice Kirsten - that'd be great if you can do it. Four people (or even two or three) reading the same book makes this a lot easier.

So one example is:
1. I Love My Car
2. Carrie Soto is Back
3. Carrie Soto is Back
4. Ackward Relationships

You can match anything from 3 letters to the full titles of the book (anything in between works too).

So we could do (and shoot - this makes me realize my Death Down Under does NOT work - which i'm sure confused the situation)
1. Thunder Moon
2. Thunder Moon (matches all the letters)
3. Moon Called (matches Moon to Moon)
3. Led Astray (matches last three letters)

Does that help?

Even Thunder Moon repeated once or twice would help. I have Death Down Under that could link to it. And/or Moon Called that could link to the other end.

If we have some Carrie Soto books almost done, we can use however many of those. Or if someone wants to come up with an easy book for 4 of us to read, we can do that. OR, we can just match letters / words.

Ok this is a fun one, that requires some coordination:
Ladder Book 1: last letters start book 2
Ladder Book 2: last letters start book 3
Ladder Book 3: last letters start book 4
Ladder Book 4

At least 3 letters have to match. Some teams have used the same book 4 times.

It was the direction task again - I personally don't want to think about words being position or direction - and there are SO many cool tasks - so getting another respin :)

Great. Yeah let's respin - I feel like the majority of the captains that chimed in think it's a valid thing, and were helping us out there :) And really, it helps all of the teams, because we'll all have that same situation at some point.

I'm going to get a respin though, and will modify my question post :)

Nice, that's handy. Man I wish those two statements weren't different. because "receive a task a third time" - heck yeah I want a respin. But "once completed twice" - conflicts. Hopefully they'll get back to us soon.

But in the mini rules it says: Once a set has been completed twice, captains can request a respin if they receive that set a third time.

So I don't know - let's see if we can get an answer. Meanwhile - hold off on the second sloth we have listed :)

I found a book I can listen to tomorrow that has a Snake on the cover. And I changed my heron book to a shorter one - hopefully I will finish it tomorrow, but if not, it'll be Wednesday morning. I do have tons of books with animals in them, so I'll see where we are at tomorrow :)

Read a book with the letters ROOSTER in the title (all -- multiple O and R required!)
Read a book whose author initials (all) are in PETRIFIED

Oh thanks Lisa - that's better than 4 mirrors.

I found a shorter Heron book, so I'm switching to that one.

Oh shoot - so we got:
Sloth (all the animals) again - and we haven't completed two so cannot re-roll

and Basilisk - which is 4 books with a mirror on the cover.

100 is the minimum number of pages. And ok - I'll ask for a reroll :)
