I started today. I’m glad I’m reading book 2. I really like some of the characters like Howie. I can read which has a wolf on the cover.

I may be stretching it, but will work for mode of transportation on cover? The woman is walking down the road. If that works, put me down for both spots!

Also, is there an easy way to search for books tagged as relax or calm? Or do we just have to keep searching our books and hopefully find one categorized that way? That one is going to be the tough one, I think!

I’m probably missing something, but I’m not able to write anything in the claiming spreadsheet. Can a captain add my name to the has “song” in the title task? I’ll be reading This Savage Song. Thanks!

So we need to complete all 4 books under each task to get points? That makes it more complicated. I am able to do more of the books under each task if needed.

I agree, Donna. We should start with book 1. We only need complete 3 tasks, right? Maritza could read the book with double l, Anya could read the book with musical instrument. And I could read the book with s. Does that work for everyone? Then, we could choose another book and see what other tasks we can do.

After looking through my upcoming books very quickly, I can fulfill some tasks for book 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 easily.

Book 1 - A double l in title or 5 word title, has devil in title or starts with s

Book 3 - paranormal book

Book 4 - dragon in title

Book 5 - read a mystery

Book 7 - read a book that is #3 in a series

I will have to look more closely at covers and story of the books to see if others will fit.

The team challenge does look doable. This should be fun!

But I did feel Annie did grow some and realized she couldn’t be a good mother. And took responsibility in the end. That was the one thing I did like about the ending of the book. Regarding Luke (view spoiler)[ Yes, Luke is Annie’s therapist. But I don’t think he’s a good one! He tells Lexi that she is part of Annie’s problem. And now Lexi feels terrible about her enabling. That didn’t help the situation, in my opinion! Even if this is true, Luke should have handled it better! (hide spoiler)]
