For our third book, I nominate Goblet of Fire, task 3 and 4. I can complete couple dancing, one shoe on cover and water on cover. Any other ideas for our third book?

I had my husband look at why I could not post to task claiming spreadsheet. I downloaded google app and I think I can now post to the spreadsheet. I have added myself to the predominately purple cover , has “night” in title and has a hat on the cover . Please let me know if this worked!

I took a few days off of task reading to finish a few books I had started. But I’ll start focusing on my task books again tomorrow!

Interesting! So the book is the same as the earlier book but not the same! LOL I never read the previous book, so it will be new to me. I’m ready to start Tuesday or later. I’m flexible.

Read through chapter 36 today. So much going on!(view spoiler)[ I do think Howie’s crush on Samantha is funny. But I’d get annoyed by his constant flirtation.

It is a little far fetched that NY police would bring a teen like Jazz so deeply into the case. But I just go with it. Interesting about Valsamo. He was so crazy, I wasn’t sure why they were taking him so seriously. But maybe he was there to distract while the other victim was killed and placed at the scene? Very elaborate planning!

Connie found the birth certificate. Very curious why Billy isn’t listed as father. Why was the box buried? Is Billy playing a game with Connie? I hope Billy doesn’t attempt to hurt Connie. I could see Billy trying to mess with Jazz’s head that way! (hide spoiler)]

I read through 18 too. Things are picking up! (view spoiler)[ Everyone is dying. And I understand Toby’s frustration with them not listening to her. Toby thinks the killer may be someone there. I think it may be Alex or Terrie. They are strange. And why do they never appear together? At least I do not remember them in the same room at the same time. (hide spoiler)]

I really laughed when Toby told Quentin that he should eat something nutritious with his soda like a Snickers bar. Because they have peanuts which have protein, right? I didn’t hide this because it’s not much of a spoiler. But this is what I’m really enjoying about the book!

There’s a lot of mysterious stuff going on. I agree the ritual Toby is about to do will definitely cause trouble! LOL

No problem, I didn’t start it. I was added to read a book with wolf in title, so I did that.

For MPG books, can the book we choose have the genre in the top shelves? There is a book that I can read that has a top shelf in Music. Not on the main page, though. Will that work ?

I read through chapter 7. I am liking the series. It’s light and fun. I am really nterested to know what is going on with January. And Alex and Terri must be fae (view spoiler)[that attract the opposite sex and repel the same sex. I have never heard of this kind of fae before. (hide spoiler)]

DeVann, I feel like the series is getting better. I am getting to know the characters better and forming attachments.

That will be mportant later, I think. And the killer’s phone call. Is that Billy Dent calling? What does 6, 5+1 mean? And what else was said!? I want to know! LOL

And Morales. I was surprised she wants Jazz’s help even though Montgomery wants Jazz gone. There will be more to this! And yes, the situation with Connie’s dad and Jazz is a mess! (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, I really like Howie too! (view spoiler)[ Ugh! The murders are gruesome. I’m glad Connie is with Jazz. But I don’t think it will be as romantic as they hope. This is YA. :) I agree with G. William that Jazz having doubts and worrying he’ll be like his dad, is proof he isn’t.

I hadn’t thought about two killers. That is an interesting theory. I like how they figured out why the murderer was putting hats or dogs on the victims. (hide spoiler)]
