[bookcover:Finding ..."No more vampires? I'm still in love with the Sookie Stackhouse books and a mob season 2 to Trueblood... :)
I'm in another challenge with another group that seems similar to WOBBLE. Because I don't buy books or use an reader, I get all my books from the public library near my home. There's no limit on the amount of books you can check out, thankfully. So right now I have 108 books borrowed! In almost every circumstance, whether it was for a spell-out, genre, picture on cover -- I'd have it covered by browsing thru my book shopping bags. I think I only had to dash down to the library twice to search for something quickly. I plan to employ the same strategy here. I just tell the librarians I'm an incurable insomniac with ADD...
Duh! So sorry, Cait. I saw it and it's beautiful! You're probably going to have to explain it more than I few times, though...

Also a John Green reference.
IM SO EXCITED!!"
What? No photo? Or is it private? I don't have any ink, but if i did, I'd want to rock it!! :)
That sounds great, Cait!"
More insomniac craziness... I just finished Mambo in Chinatown and Ask The Parrot yesterday 5/18/16. 'Mambo' was excellent! I really enjoyed it & stayed up way too late reading. I know we don't need them, but still... You gotta read 'Mambo!'
I LOVE chatty teams! I admit I was on GR for over a year quietly logging my books and secretly stalking different groups & challenges in stealth mode. Then I decided to jump in & WOW! I've gone totally crazy now. The best and most amazing thing to me was meeting all the other people who read even more than I do and the way everyone loves to discuss books. I had never in my life met anyone who read as much as I did. It's fabulous, really. I'm really looking forward to WOBBLE!
Hi, ladies! I've taken another 'Monday Mental Health' day off again... So I just finished Water for Elephants which was really, really good and am working on Paper Towns -- which will be my 2008 book as well as a bunch of others for various challenges. And it's library day again with pot roast for dinner. It just doesn't get any better than this!
should we add it to the spreadsheet or is it just overkill at this point? Cathy can decide! :)
Amy "the book-bat" wrote: "I just came across this TBR calculatorAccording to this, I will finish my TBR in 2053 at the age of 80. Of course, it doesn't take into account the additions between now and then..."
OMG Amy! So of course I had to try it! I have 2440 books on my TBR list! So if I don't add any more books (HA!) I will be 69 years old when I finish these in the year 2035 -- and hopefully not blind yet...
I just finished Some Girls Bite on 5/12 & Their Promised Land: My Grandparents in Love and War on 5/13... Both were excellent, but I think I'm going to be reading more of the vampire series! Gotta love a new vamp who is snarky! Can someone add them onto the spreadsheet for me, please?
Maya wrote: "It's SO. GOOD. It's so funny and all the book references make me happy. The Eyre Affair is the first one."
Hi Maya! Welcome. I love Jasper Fforde! Anyone whose name starts with a double F has got to be cool, right? I have to check out this series...
Cool! I was off today and finished Bury Me Standing: The Gypsies and Their Journey, which does not count for this challenge... andWhen Breath Becomes Air which was transcendent! I cried so much, people will probably think I lost a fight tomorrow. But I don't care. It was that good!
Yaaayyy! I'd like to use Come Rain or Come Shine for my Amazon 1-2lb. Shipping weight. It's listed as 1.2 lbs. Thanks, Greta!
Greta wrote: "Happy Mothers Day to you too! We will spend time going to a garden center & possibly planting :-) If you open the book on Amazon, click on the hardcover version, scroll down to Product Details it..."
Cool! I'll try it. I'm sure that ar least one of my books will qualify...
What's everyone up to this weekend? Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! My baby is on vacation in California & Arizona, so I'm childless this year. One weird question for y'all: how do you determine Amazon shipping weight? I never buy books, so I don't know. I'm pretty sure one of my recent books would qualify...
I just finished The Kitchen House -- it was amazing! I didn't want to read any other books or go to sleep at decent hours... Also Making Money which I just couldn't get into although it was clever and witty
Could someone add them on to the spreadsheet for me, please?
