Thanks, O Fearless Leaders! You guys are awesome!

That being said, I'd like to claim the non profit category with Witch Hunt. The MC is a public librarian in Iowa.

I really loved The Kitchen House too! It wasn't your typical slave story. We rarely even consider the white slaves. That poor little girl didn't know where she stood in the world! You wonder how many stories like that there really must be...

Maritime disaster. The characters are aboard a German ship that is torpedoed and sunk during wartime.

35559 I worked for a law library years ago. Universities & law firms would request rare books/documents from us on microfiche which we charged for. We were considered a non-profit although we were all paid employees. Same situation when I worked for a Catholic school -- and we charged tuition! I always wondered what exactly non-profit meant. Is it the tax status or other criteria?

35559 Hypothetical question: would being a librarian for a public library qualify as working for a non-profit?

35559 Just wanted to say that I am enjoying my 2 books immensely! They're both very unusual and take a bit of getting used to, but seem to be quick reads and are very interesting...

35559 For my next Labor, may I choose #10 - The Paranormal : Consider the Past. Read a book with a ghost.

35559 I was wondering if I should switch my book Top O' the Mournin' from Labor 4 The Mystery - Find Sherlock (mystery) to Labor 6 The Horror - Play in the Hedge because it has a tree sculpted into a skull on the cover - topiary style. Please use it wherever you think it's most needed.

You'd be surprised, Cecily! Sometimes they follow the graphic novels, sometimes they don't. You can never guess what's next and the actors are all sworn to secrecy. If you watch the Talking Dead after the new episodes, it serves to feed the frenzy. Glen is my favorite character, so I really hope they don't kill him off. I feel Eugene is most expendable... My son is hoping for Carl.... :)

I know, right? And there are LOTS more, too! But for some strange reason all I want to do now is talk about TWD! Ha!
Hey, how come there aren't any zombie categories in Labors? I only noticed psychic, ghosts, werewolves & vampires... :)

35559 Can't wait! But while we're waiting...

I watch FTWD as well, but I feel like I can't really like any of those characters! I come close to liking Alicia. I find myself actually rooting for Nick to die! He has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. (My son's name is Nick so that's even more funny!)

I don't know how to do the spoiler thing, so I won't spoil TWD for Cecily. We're discussing the outcome of the last episode at work endlessly. There are about 4 of us who love the show, all others are clueless! We growl zombie like at each other in the hallways and then laugh like lunatics! Funnier still when you realize we work at a mental hospital!

I also watch and read every zombie show/movie/book I come across. I enjoy Z Nation just because it's so cheesy. (2-hour season premiere in 9/16!) Another fun thing we do at work is call out 'Murphy's coming!'

What is wrong with us?
