35559 I LOVE TWD too! My son & I are obsessed, but my husband thinks we're nuts. Who do think it was that Negan killed??

But better news: I finished Dying in Style and it was a hoot!

35559 Please go for the black title book, Alissa! I wasn't really feeling mine because it deals with child murder! That's what you get for randomly grabbing books off the shelf without reading the synopsis...

I'm halfway done with Gone for Good. It's a pretty wacky story by Mark Childress. I'm enjoying it a lot! I took an extra day off for mental health purposes. :) Just put a pot of stew in the slow cooker, doing piles of laundry, reading, of course, and am now about to go in search of lunch. Not a hurricane in sight. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

So far, so good. Looks like hurricane Lester will pass about 100+ miles to our south. So only torrential rains. Dinner was great (mushroom round steak) and I'm now watching Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince. Does it get any better? I have book lights in case of power outages. Must be prepared for all contingencies! I'm off till Wednesday, so hopefully will finish a whole new batch of books!

35559 We're sitting here waiting for hurricanes. Gloomy, muggy weather, but the good news is: crockpot is on, lots of tea and goodies, it's both a Harry Potter AND a Sharknado weekend, and I have FIVE shopping bags filled with books!
Just started The Watchmaker of Filigree Street, I have A Man Called Ove. I'm really enjoying The Vampire of Venice Beach and Top O' the Mournin'

Thanks, Nanci! It's the whole time zone thing. This has been the case for me in several challenges. I'm 6 hrs behind the East Coast & more sometimes with overseas players. I can't really check in at work, so by the time I get home, it's all over. Can't be helped, I guess...
