It is a rule that the mods don't want to get involved in making individual exceptions for. Which I understand. I did propose that a future rule include something like the case here, where the erotic tags outnumber the Childrens.

Goodreads was a little weird a few days ago, with multiple captains noticing page counts and "More editions" disappearing from the main page. So maybe the algorithms are a little messed up right now, too. It has been suggested that we check it again in a day or two to see if it's still on there.

In the meantime, we do need a brown cover for this set of District tasks.

35559 As it stands now, we still need a brown cover for our District 2 spin.

Kari, believe it or not, Christmas on Firefly Hill is MPG Childrens. It is actually tagged Childrens by 1 person, on the 5th page of tags. I have no idea how it made it onto the main page. And it has no audio edition, so I can't verify a length that way. I'm about 99% sure we won't be able to use it, but on the off chance I'm wrong, I am double checking.

35559 Quick reminder for anyone reading the Backroom BOM, A Nobleman’s Guide to Seducing a Scoundrel. Today is the last day for BOM participation points on that one. If the book is finished after today, we still get page points.

@Preeti - don’t forget we still need your Mockingjay participation posts.

35559 Brown cover? TinEye looks like it might be about 50%. Barrayar (Vorkosigan Saga, #7) by Lois McMaster Bujold

Brown text? The Book That Broke the World (The Library Trilogy, #2) by Mark Lawrence

I do have an Italy book that I can read quick.

And my current ebook works for author initials.

What does everyone else have? I can focus on what we need that no one else has.

This one works for the cover item relating to District 4 (ocean and boat for fishing). Give me a few minutes to update things and I'll get us a new district.

Perfect. I'm going to find a different book for "item related to district on cover" because the one I put there actually has a genetically mutated fish that is used as a flying ship, and can be used for The Capitol in future.

35559 Our next district is District Four!

I filled in a bunch of the tasks from our banked books. We still need:

1. FISH letters in title
2. Set in Australia (50%)

I can do the Australia book, but it'll be tomorrow before I finish, if anyone else wants to take it.

And again, we have one book with the letters FISH in the title, but it's our India book. So if you have an India book instead of FISH, we can do that, too.

We just need a book with the letters of RICH in the title. Or a Purple cover, because the one we have down for the purple cover right now has all the letters in it.

We do have one book that has all the letters in the title, but it is set in India, so I was planning to save it for that task. So if we get another India book we could do that, too.

I have one option that I can read after I read my U book for the spell-out if no one else has anything.

brown text on cover
set in Finland or Sweden (50%+) - I have one for this, but if someone else has one, please say so and I'll switch books.
