35559 This will probably be our last district. Tomorrow I'll go through and get as many books into the spell-out as I can from what's left.

35559 Kari read Turnabout, in which the MC returns to his hometown to help out with his father's struggling letterpress shop. Sound like a general electronics linked plot element to anyone else?

That happens to all of us sometimes. Real life always has to take precedence over reading, even when we don't want to let it!

Put it down for cover item. I’m working on the plot element now.

Now we just need a Russia book.

I think that is to much of a stretch.

35559 We got District 12. Let me see what we have already covered. I have a few hours left in my #12 book.

District 12 is coal mining

#12 in series - Laura currently reading
item related to district on the cover
set in Russia (50%+)
plot element that can be linked to the district - Laura has audio for this one

I would think maybe a diamond on the cover would work for the item on cover task.

My library has Loretta Lynn - Coal Miner's Daughter which I can listen to in 4 hours and works for the plot element.

As soon as these 2 are finished, we can get a new one.

35559 If you want to re-read it, go for it. I listen to audio at 2x speed, so it would only be about 3 1/2 hours for me.

35559 I found this on audible included with my membership: The 2020 Commission Report On The North Korean Nuclear Attacks Against The U.s.: A Speculative Novel. It works for the plot element task.

I can do #13 in series, but I need to read the #12 in the series first. But we can use it for when we get District 12.

I have an option for BOMB in title.

As always, I'm researching my options as though I'm the only one of us reading, so I can cover whatever we end up needing. If someone finds something, please say so here so I know what to prioritize.

35559 For planning for possible future tasks, we have a 9, 5, 14, 3, 8 in series. So we could conceivably need 6 and 12.

We also have books set in a capitol city and India. I'm reading a China right now and have a Korea up soon. And Keely's O for the spell-out is set in Germany. So we could need Germany (depending on when we get it), Pakistan, Russia.

ETA: I'm currently reading a #12, so we would only still need a #6 for the series tasks.

Keely finished her book set in Germany, and Sana is reading a Pakistan book, so we only need Russia for the settings.

35559 We've got District 13. Let me finish updating and see what we can already cover. I'm positive we'll need a #13 and item/plot element related to district. We do have to stay within what is provided with the task, so nuclear weaponry, rather than anything we might know about 13 from the books/movies.

District 13 was in charge of nuclear weaponry
