35559 Sophie,

Claire's Adrian Mole book works for the diary tag, so I'm going to use it and we'll see where to fit yours when you finish. :)

Louise,

Vi finished a book that works for "country scene on cover", so we are using it to unlock more tasks.

35559 Claire,

as you said you have trouble with adding books, I have added
Rood, wit & koningsblauw/Jona and Het geheime dagboek van Adrian Mole 13 3/4 to the sheet. :)

35559 Anyone with an author/char named John?

If yes, I could cover 1, 3 & 5 for this.

35559 It was a very slow boat to China, but finally I realised that my current read will cover people with different religions interacting. :)

35559 If someone has a book for character identifies as male, just feel free to kick out mine.

I'll finish, but struggling with it. One of the few Heyer books where she went for an infantile female MC and I kind of loathe her.

Also, my HOBART in title book will be a slow read as I need to wait for the current TT travel itinerary to complete before finishing that one.

Which one? (There must be several I'm trying to palm off on you. 🤭)

Yes, I saw that, but it is on the list, so it is fine! Plus, it has a nice page count! :)

35559 Are we OK with the Spanish version Juan for "character named John"? 🤭

35559 Claire,

I saw that you already finished Huckleberry Finn, so I set it as read and did the transfer. 😊

35559 I have 3 weeks left at work before going on holidays and it is absolutely bonkers, and my reading has slowed down a bit because I'm so tired. So I'm trying to alternate "serious" stuff with lighter books or rereads.

For the current itinerary I have finished the 3 compulsory mid-level books, so we are good to go with other levels. I'm in awe that you are all so willing to go for the hard level books. 😊

And on this note, I have finished Do Not Disturb: The Story of a Political Murder and an African Regime Gone Bad by journalist Michaela Wrong for Rwanda.
Certainly not an easy read and occasionally I have struggled with trying to follow the Rwanda (Uganda, DRC, etc) who-is-who, but it was an eye-opener and I'm glad I read it!
