35559 Welcome Emily! We've had quite a few members recently fall in love with Cassandra Clare's world of Shaddowhunters. We've got a Magnus Bane mini fan club
35559 It took me way too long to realize this was a play on Little Red Riding Hood. It wasn't until I logged on here and saw the Cinder group read that I thought 'Huh, wonder what this ones based on.' Then I face-palmed and blamed it on working too much...
35559 Good thing I have this one on order already!
35559 Pleasant surprised. With the crazy number of teen fantasy/sci fi series that have been flooding the shelves, I was worried this might have been so popular because it's a cute story but had no originality. Glad my assumption was so far off. Yes, it's a play in Cinderella, but you can easily forget that. And the story would have thrived even without the popular fairytale background. Meyer takes risks that muddle chances at a happily ever after for everyone, which is something I greatly respect in an author. Just over 25% left and I've already got Amazon shipping me the next two.

35559 Read far more for this challenge than I thought I would. All five for the Doodle category.

35559 Would totally check out her other work!
But now I want to reread The Stand
35559 I just finished reading this one for another group. It's like a recipe of one cup of Hunger Games + 2 tablespoons of The Selection + a dash of Harry Potter for taste. Charming and fun.

35559 Hi everyone. I'm Megan. My favorite genre is historical fiction. I started reading again a few years ago when I dropped cable. My cat is Dixie Cup and I have a beast of a boxer named Brady.
