35559 I'm reading John Adams and it's almost ~750 pages. It's for another teams challenge so I'm not reading it just for the word temperance. But, since it's a nonfiction, it is likely going to take me a while to read.

35559 I'm starting Six of Crowsthis weekend and plan on at least reading Uprooted. I didn't request DQs though because I have no idea how my work schedule will pan out.

I have a MOBI copy of the BOM Everything I Never Told You. I purchased the ePub earlier this year and my husband unlocked and converted it so I could read it on my Kindle app. If anyone wants to read it, I can email it to you.

35559 It's actually the second time we had that goal thrown at us.

35559 I am reading John Adams and it have the word Temperance in the text. Twice. It's going to take me a while to read, but technically it fills that goal.
35559 This is easily one of my favorite books. I first read it in high school for an AP English class, though I didn't truly appreciate it until a few years ago. Life experience and circumstance has changed how I look at Jane as a heroine. It inspired my first literary tattoo: the quote "No net ensnares me"

All done, then we got 'Read a book with a man on the cover' I us..."

Oh I giggled at it too. At work. Then showed a co-worker who giggled as well.

35559 I'm reading a Texas book, so you don't have to read it if you don't want to.

35559 I'll dig through Kindle Unlimited and find something easy with a state title. There are plenty of cowboy romances based around Texas or Montana.

35559 Don't we get a boon every few weeks so we can drop a goal or two that are giving us trouble?
35559 18. Claire's crime is now known. Were you surprised? Does it seem in character?
A bit surprised, but its nice to know she has some backbone.

19. Paul now seems to be a terrible character - serial rapist, stalker, hard core pornographer, bigamist, kidnapper? murderer? Do you think someone with that much to hide could really have kept everything from his wife? Is Claire going to start having A-ha moments as she researches his life?

He could easily hide it from his wife if she isn't interested in anything more than whats going on in her little world. Paul's good at this. He learned to conceal it well. I hope Claire has A-ha moments or her character will be way too ridiculous. Her protective bubble has burst and she better be able to see clearly without it.

20. I haven't read a lot of Slaughter novels, but those that I have read always seem to have dirty cops. How careful do you think the author has to be navigating Atlanta? Does she get arrested daily by angry cops?

The dirty cop thing is an easy solution.

21. Anna Kilpatrick - she was killed and dumped. Why weren't the other women, Julia included, found in the same way?

They got bored? Being creative?

22. Ben Carver - involved in Julia's case or just a red herring? And did I miss something or is the quote in the Dr. Seuss book not explained yet.

I think he's in there to throw us off.

35559 Are we allowed to count books of the month toward goals or just books of the month points? And do we only get points when the book questions are finished?
