(view spoiler)[Interesting the way the characters got divided up after the failed rescue attempt. I'm not surprised that Thorne and Cress ended up together. Cress has a major crush on Thorne so we'll see where this goes. Worrying about Thorne's loss of sight. At least Cinder is now with Dr. Erland. I guess that's good; I'm still not sure what his motives are. We've seen the least of Scarlet so far and she's probably in the most perilous situation. (hide spoiler)]

I finally started and read through chapter 5. It's good to see the four characters working together. I feel bad for Cress too. Not much of an existence.

Through chapter 8. So far I'm finding the book easy to read. I didn't realize there was a TV series, but I'll have to look it up.

I've read the first five chapters from The Great Hunt. So far, not a lot of action but new character build up.
