(view spoiler)[Ok my current theory is Amma had something to do with those kids deaths. I've been getting the impression for awhile now that she is a psychopath/sociopath because it seems like she can turn the charm on and off with the snap of her fingers and she seems to take pleasure in others' misery (like when she was watching those pigs at the plant) and the latest comment where she asked if Adora liked Camille more or less after Marian died, and when Camille says less, she says "so it didn't help" which makes me think she could have killed those girls when her mother seemed to be getting too close to them. I don't think she could have pulled out the teeth herself though, so there must be more. (hide spoiler)]

Just in time for extra points too. I really liked it and will be continuing with the series, but I found some of the times when the author went on and on about something physics based, I did get bored. And I didn't feel right just skimming them because I didn't know if they would be important so I would try to understand, but would be annoyed when something was way over my head. The story parts of the book were very fascinating and that game was so neat. Can't wait to see what the next book has in store.

When do we have to have buddy reads done for? Im still finishing up two and was thinking midnight my time but now realizing that might not be right.

Ok I've finally started it and I'm up to Chapter 4

I don't love the MC but I'm at least finding her more likeable than the protagonist in Dark Places, even if she seems to be a (view spoiler)[functioning alcoholic with some major issues. It sounds like she has had some traumatic things happen to her in her childhood and that her mother is a bit difficult to connect with. And I dunno, something about her sister who died when she was a kid seems kind of off to me. Why doesn't she seem to remember anything? And why on earth is this serial killer pulling out the girls' teeth? (hide spoiler)]

These tasks are very specific. So there are going to be lots of books that people have to read for reasons other than this challenge, which will hopefully fill up our spell-out.

Shocked that it's all Ye Wenjie's doing that they discovered life on another planet and that she is welcoming them to come to earth and take over the planet because she has given up on the human race. And here I was thinking she was a sweet old lady. Does this mean she had a hand in her own daughter's suicide? That's cold! (hide spoiler)]

For me it's the people in my life who have never read Harry Potter. My brain just can't process people who say they're not that interested!

Ooooooohhhh, and that cover is so pretty!
