I'm almost done I'm Judging You: The Do-Better Manual and I'm also reading A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole (works for A and C)
Ok so I've never watched Supernatural or read Cut & Run (although it is on my TBR). Am I still on the team? :p
Finished my first book for the challenge!!! I just couldn't seem to put it down. I wasn't even sure at first if I would continue with the series but I found myself weepy through a lot of it, so it made me care enough to feel for the characters. I got it as a freebie awhile back so didn't expect much.
Just posted in the completion thread.

Half an hour. Chores are done, I’m freshly showered and ready to go! I also havent read a book for a day and a half so I’m pumped.
This will start at 4pm for me, so I'm going to go clean my house in preparation for reading all weekend, lol.My first two books will be:
I'm Judging You: The Do-Better Manual by Luvvie Ajayi - author: A or L, genre: black
Forever Betrothed, Never the Bride by Christi Caldwell - author: C
I finished my book last night and for the first time in my memory I’m going to head to work without a book to read. Going to use the time today and tomorrow to catch up on my podcasts and maybe watch some netflix. I should be desperate to pick up a book by the time the challenge starts.
That’s a good idea. I’m in the middle of one now which should take me a couple more days. Depending on when I finish, I will try to resist starting anything new. Or at least read something short. I believe this one starts sometime on Saturday afternoon for me.
Thanks! I just looked at this page:https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...
and then had to click on all the books that were on my tbr until I finally found one that had it on the first page. Was happy to finally get one.
You can put me down for the genre spot.I can read I'm Judging You: The Do-Better Manual which has black on the first page of tags. I'll check it just before the challenge starts to make sure it hasn't dropped off to the second page though. It would fit under A or L for the author.

In this challenge, it would be especially useful to read holiday books because they would be likely to have words and shelves and things on the cover relating to our word of the week potentially. But I've never found myself drawn to them.
Just a fun question I'm throwing out there... Do you all like "holiday" themed books? I always see people reading Christmas romances and stuff but I've never been able to get into any so far. As for Halloween themed books, I would guess most would fall into the cozy-mystery genre, which I've never tried.Am I missing out on great books?
Good idea! If there are only 1 or 2 pages of tags total, even tags with one person will show on the first page.
Sophie wrote: "They have to be on the first page of tags once you click on genres. Means the absolute number might vary a lot"That's not so bad. I was wondering if they wanted them on the main page, like where the book cover was and all the reviews. That would be close to impossible.
I'm guessing these do not need to be main page genres right? Because I'm pretty sure that would be impossible since you don't see things other than "contemporary" "fantasy" "classics" on those pages. Does the book need to have a minimum number to tags to count?
One thing I liked about this challenge, which I think was different than some of the past ones, is that the challenge itself and how intense it would be was outlined a bit before sign-ups were opened, which meant people knew more what they were getting into. Some of the most frustrating times in the past were that people would sign up and then not participate because they were not prepared for the level of intensity the challenge required.WOBBLE was particularly bad for my team I remember.

I didn't love the bidding which was too stressful for me, and my team always seemed to get hit with crazy-hard sabotages, but my team worked so well together to fill all those insane tasks, and we had a blast doing it!
