"Classic" tower teams (or other "just read whatever and log the books" challenges) just doesn't do it for me in the same way after experiencing challenges like this, WOBBLE, cutthroat, gladiator games, etc. The crazier the better!
Thanks to all the organizers for another great game. I'm always glad to have a bit of a break between these giant challenges because they are so all-consuming, and it means I'm always ready to go by the time the next one is announced. Thanks for always running such unique and well-thought out games. These are always my favourite team challenges.

This looks really fun! I would love to play but since I don't read a ton of fantasy, some of the example categories look like they would be hard for me to find books to fill. I would love to find one like this that isn't genre-themed.
Devann wrote: "no this is really the only active challenge group i'm in. what does ammp stand for?"A million more pages. I posted a link in my last post if you want to check it out.
I'm in my post challenge slump right now (haven't picked up a book since I finished my last one for this challenge). It always seems to happen after NBRC challenges (wobble, cutthroat and now this one) where I am a bit burned out and focus on individual challenges for a bit to relax, but soon enough I will be looking for another team challenge.
I find the challenges at Precinct 81 to be pretty fun and different than the majority of challenges I see in the handful of other challenge groups I'm in.

Spell out: N, G, C, Annie, Rachel, Erica
Rolling in the Deep by Mira Grant
Finished: 08/29
Rating: 4 stars

I read this book for Task 4.4: Read a book with mermaids but I see that spot has been filled and this one was moved to 4.4: Read a book with someone swimming on the cover
If you guys think it's clear the mermaid on the cover is swimming, we can use it for that.
Spell-out: R, M, G, Anne, Kevin, David, Jovanie
Highly Illogical Behavior by John Corey Whaley
Finished: 08/28
Rating: 4 stars
Pages: 256
Task 2.1: Read a book with a car on the cover
Spell Out: H, J, W, Solomon, Lisa, Clark
I will for sure be able to finish the three I've got claimed and hoping I can still squeeze in at least one more after that.

Do you think they are swimming on the cover? Or does it seem obvious that this cover is swimming?
Since both have mermaids, maybe we can move one.
I didn’t think I’d be able to find it because its not even available as an ebook but my library has two paper copies, so I’ll stop by on my way home from work.
I'm definitely going to have time to complete a few more than what I currently have claimed, but going to wait until I'm further into my book and see what is most needed then.Hopefully everyone is still on track to read what they have claimed currently.
A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet

Task 2.2: Read a book with a deadly weapon on the cover (sword)
I couldn't find a wolf on the cover.If we're going to attempt 2.1 I can do
Read a book with a car on the cover
I'm looking for wolf on cover but I don't have much hope as I don't read a ton of shifter type books.
Or Prisoner of Azkaban also would work for:2.1: Read a book where a character escapes prison
if we wanted to start a new task.
