Finished my O book and will get to my U book later today - it should take me less than an hour to complete but we need to duck to the shops first :)

Do these calculation include the extra 60 points being offered for completing SZ1 this round?

I haven't chosen my last book and want to figure out if I should try and find an O book with 500 pages or something else"Do you just want books for this round or for all books we’ve read si ce the challenge started?
Finished my group 2 book, could someone link it in the SS for me please :)https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
Sammy wrote: "We didn't. But we can bank regeneration points in case we need them next round :)"Ok, great. I read the current BOM this round so will make sure I answer the DQ’s and participate to help with any future regeneration.

1. We start with a bit of a bang. Did you have any first impressions of what was going on? Time travel? Parallel universe? Delusions? Something else?I had no idea what was going on at the start, but it never occurred to me that it was a parallel universe or delusions.
2. What do you think having FMS is like? Why do you think it seems to be contagious, and how?
It would be awful to have memories that seemed real where those memories meant you had lost a child or other close loved one. The grief would be very real.
3. The main characters are both dealing with loss; Barry with his daughter, and Helena with her mother’s memories. How do you think what they have gone through is affecting their careers and their lives?
In very opposite ways. Helena’s loss has lead to he being very driven in her career and passionate about her work, whereas it seems like Barry is just getting through the day without much direction or purpose.
4. Why do you think Slade is going all in on funding Helena’s research? Something personal, or just financial?
He seemed very suspect right from the start. It seemed to me that he definitely had a vested interest but I didn’t know what that was.
5. Is there a moment that you would go back to to start over? Share if you wish to. . I don’t think so, I am happy where my life is now, so changing any aspect of the past would lead me on a different pathway and I wouldn’t want to change my present circumstances.
6. Lots of stuff happens in Book 1. What do you think so far? Any Ideas on what comes next?
I’ve already finished, so can’t really answer this one.
7. On a lighter note, would you prefer drinking Old Grand-Dad and Coors, or the ’47 Cheval Blanc?
And, did anyone else keep thinking of chipmunks when Helena was being mean to the mice?
47 Cheval Blanc since I don’t like beer.
I agree Sammy, you must sign up, it’s great because beside some side challenges you can read whatever you want and you just earn points based on page count. It’s so freeing to get to read whatever you please with no restrictions but still earn points and be part of a group challenge.
I don’t like cozy mysteries at the best of times, let alone buying one for a challenge and it turning out awful!
Yay, I got one. An earlier book discussed in the ‘does this book work’ thread is on Audible and is narrated a by one of my fave narrators, so decided to use a credit on it. Looking forward to getting into it now :D
I’ve been looking at it for the past day trying to find one. It’s proving difficult and books others have chosen aren’t available through my library or Scribd and would cost $12 to buy.
All safe zone 2 have to be completed before we complete safe zone 3, however I believe you can start reading for safe zone 3 before finishing safe zone 2.
I’d read about 50-60% of both of them earlier in the week so once I got home today and had a chance to dedicate myself to reading them I was able to power through them, plus the fact they were both good books helps :D
Ok, second one down. Sammy (or anybody else who can) would you be able to link my books in the SS?Recursion
