So it looks like one of my audible books has Marie Antoinette in the text, so I can read that. It will work for A or L.

I’m reading
Dead Girls: Essays on Surviving an American Obsession for Charles Manson, it only works for A though.

Ok, looks like I might need to finish the book I dnf’d earlier in the week as it has Charles Manson in the text, which is one of the 10 point words in the word search. Thankfully I’m already a third of the way through, so shouldn’t take too long and now I know what to expect it may be a better read.

Looks like we have a word search challenge this week too. I’ll have to see if any of my books have the tricky words in them.

Happy for a respin here too

Ok, I do have a Colleen Hoover
Confess that works for A. It’s been on my Kobo for several years now, so I guess this is a good reason to read it :)

New adult isn’t really my thing but I think I have a Colleen Hoover on my Kobo from a few years ago that I never got around to reading that will probably apply.

I was going to read Perfect Formation but after the comments about how terrible it was I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. This month’s sounds a lot more promising.

So I started reading
(supposedly it examines societies obsession with dead women - through the news, true crime, film, tv, literature, etc) I was really looking forward to it as the premise of the essay collection sounded really interesting. What a disappointment! I ended up DNFing it as it was just a rambling collection of thoughts, with minimal discussion of the topic on the blurb. Le sigh, I wish I had read the GR reviews first but I was so interested in the topic I didn’t even check it’s GR page first. Now I want to read an actual good book about the topic if anyone happens to know one?

I can read
Thicker Than Blood which has a character starting with A and author last name beginning with S.
I’ll have other books tagged horror too if needed.

I enjoy the horror genre, so will be able to find something in my shelves. I’ll go take a look.

Now I’m hungry!! That pie sounds amazing.
Karen ⊰✿ wrote: "Oh I quite enjoyed that one Emma. I read the netgalley but my mum just listened to the audio and thought it was well done"That’s good to know, an audio can really make or break a book. It seems like an interesting story, and I’m looking forward to listening to it.

Finally chose an audio for this week, could someone put me against an N in the SS, I’m going to read
The Nowhere Child by
Christian White.

My second book for this week will be
The Master by
Kresley Cole Will work for M or C

Sorry!! I posted my books and went to sleep as it was bedtime here, so didn’t see the posts about my read/WaT shelf until I woke this morning. I definitely marked them as read last night, so not sure what happened there.
