You can read A Man Called Peter, Christy, and several of her other books for free from OpenLibrary.com, if you want. It's free to sign up and you can read them on a laptop or notebook. I read books I can't get through OverDrive there all the time.
They also have waiting lists you can sign up for. However, sometimes it says a book is checked out but when you click to go on the waiting list it turns out it's available right away. So if I'm interested I always try the waiting list.
Christy is one of my all-time favorite books ever. I loved it as a girl and I still do. :)
